i thought our last BS meeting, we agree we should do BS in our respective churches , and remove the "BS" name. Coz it deter non-believers from coming. We shld concentrate on being a fellowship. And using "fellowship" as a vehicle for outreaching.

 

Mr. Nu , a non-believer who came in our last BS, showed us 2 stacks of photos of how he attended a presbyterian christian fellowship in Israel when he was posted there for 4 years. Their group drove to the deserts & hold fellowship gatherings at different scenic places. All those years have sown in him a yearning to know our Lord God. Now although he is not yet a believer, he is at the edge of tipping over to know Him. But it shows how important "fellowships" is to sown seeds which will later sprouts.

 

i think having BS as part of our activities is good. How can we have our fellowship without the most wonderful book of the world, the words of God. Think at least for YK n myself, we learn more things and see different perspectives.. some of us, we dun usually have a venue to ask questions. There isnt perfect church lar.. churches made up of imperfect ppls mah.. but all are to work together to be complete. So let's keep open mind n learn from one another.

 

We can have more activites beside bible studies and let ninja convince the mod for us to change our thread name.. so its more inviting.

huh? when did we agree on this? i only remember that we agree on having extra activities besides the bible study grp so that it opens another avenue for the pre-believers to come and join us.

 

we must have God's Word among us, if not its as gd as a social gathering, not a fellowship already.

 

btw, during Lu's stay in Israel, he did have bible discussion and reading with the fellowship he was in (i wont use the word study cause a bit sensitive now lah). He mentioned some of it to me b4 our sat session started, we were early lah

1. get on kje, then bke.

2. exit mandai at BKE, ride towards sembawang road

3. go straight towards Orchid Country Club(OCC)

4. Pass OCC, and ride on - you will come to the dam.

 

tis is the summarised version. Other alternative is meet them at Jalan kayu for free prata, and then ride together there.

ok, so got at least 2 pple wanna come, then its settled. we'll meet 730 pm, makan then 815, 830pm move off, 1/2 hr shld be able to reach.
