periodically i also suffer from depression... feels a lot like a loser....see d list below n u can know y ...

 

so i try to lift myself up ...going trailing....n for sure joinin our Lightriders group hv been veri encouraging ....Tim, Edward, HM..etc has been a +ve influence....

 

Long list of why i feel like a loser ::

1. bought Steed back in 97 at above 15k...coe then was 3k... rode 3 years.. skidded..got afraid..sold it at 3k !!

 

2. bought d hdb at 300k at peak period... now i gues shd b ard 220k

 

3. kena clobber $ at Clob shares

 

4. lost few thousands at 2000 share crash

 

5. lost few thousands soccer betting few years back.... every game wil lose.. u wldnt believe one...

 

6. car accidents around 6 times since 2000.... on my Ford, on my Nissan Sunny... NCD non-existent

 

7. reecently lost few thousands on bike repairs on d Hurricane, Fireblade, KTM...

 

8. last year bot coe at 17k ..now oni $2

 

9. drop out of NCC course..dropout of TMC computer degree course, dropuout of Stansfield Biz degree after 1.5yr..dropuout of NTU engineering degree after 1 semester....

US Pastor : Have sex for 7 days & keep going

 

Reverend Ed Young challenged his followes with a rather " hot " idea to perk up things in their married lives - " Seven days of Sex "..

Rev Young, an author, a television host and the pastor of the evangelical Fellowship Church, issued his call for a week of congregational copulation among married couples last week, while pacing in front of a large bed.

" today we're beginning this sexperiment, seven days of sex " How to move from whining about the ecomony to whoopee ! " the New York Times quoted him as saying.

A week after the Sex Challenge, the 20,000 parishioners watched a prerecorded sermon from Rev Young and his wife, Lisa, on jumbo screens over candlelit stage .

Mrs Young, dressed in knee-high black boots and jeans, said that after a week of having sex everyday, or close to it, " some of us are smiling. "

He advised the couples to " keep on doing what you've been doing this week " .

 

Closer to God

 

If you make the time to have sex, it will bring you closer to your spouse and to God, he said. You will perform better at work, leave a loving legacy for your children to follow and may even prevent an extramarital affair.

 

Reverend Young, known simply as Ed to his parishioners and his wife, both 47, have been married for 26 years and have four children, including twins.

 

Those who attend Fellowship's various locations in the US are used to his provocative style.

It is not always easy to devote time for your spouse, Reverend Young admitted.

Just three days into the Sex Challenge, he said he was so tired after getting up before dawn to talk about the importance of having more sex in marriage that he crashed on the bed around 8pm.

Mrs Young tried to shake him awake, telling her husband, " Come on, it's the Sex Challenge. "

But he mumured, " let's just double up tomorrow. " and went back to sleep.

I wanna add this using today's way of talking...

 

in verse 17 Ah Seng the prodigal son was rehersing his apology speech to his father....he was talking to himself saying "dad, i am sorry... i really am jialat and screwed up big time against you and God. I have come back to become one of your employee... just pay me 3 meals is all that i am asking for.

 

So Ah Seng made up his mind and force by hunger, began to walk home to his daddy's bungalow home at bukit Timah.

 

Everyday, Ah Seng's daddy sits outside of the house, always looking out if his beloved son to come home. His servants always say..."poor dad....love his son so much.... and there is nothing he will not do for the return of his son. "

 

As Ah Seng was walking closer to his dad's home.... His dad saw him from far... lift up his sarong and ran towards Ah Seng, not caring if the neighbours would see his undignified behaviour.

 

By then Ah Seng smelled horrible as he was working in a pig farm at JB, but his daddy hug and kiss him repeatedly.

 

Ah Seng started to recite his apology to his dad, saying " dad, i am sorry and have screwed up big time. I am no longer worthy to be known as Tan Ah Seng. Please employ as one of your servants.

 

But his dad ignoring his well rehersed apology, called the maids to bring the best clothings, jackets and leather shoes to be put on Ah Seng.

 

Dad then restored Ah Seng to the Tan Household giving him authority over all that he owns and threw a huge banquet at the Four Seasons Hotel to celebrate the return of Ah Seng.

 

Ah Seng's dad gave a speech at the banquet..... Rejoice with me, for my Ah Seng has returned home to my side....for before that he was lost and dead. Now he is found and alive!!!!!!

 

The entire family was at the banquet except the eldest son who was still running the machines at the factory..........to be continue.

I like to say that its not a sin to have sex within a marriage. It is a sin to have sex outside of marriage or before marriage.

 

Sex is not dirty and given by the Lord for married couples to enjoy.

Man guns down " abused wife " in church

The congregation had been kneeling in prayer and was just rising when they heard the shots.

The sounds were confusing at first- " like a flagpole went down " was how a churchgoer described it.

" then people started screaming and crying. Someone told us to get down, so we all got down. "

By the time they realised wat was happening, a 24 years old woman lay dead, and two others were seriously wounded. One died later.

The man behind the killings ? Joseph Pallipurath, 27, of Sacramento, who drove about 3,000km from California in a green convertible Jeep Wrangler.

The shooting happened in a small church in Clifton, New Jersey, during serviceso n sunday.

The 24 years old was Ms Reshma James, the estranged wife of the alleged killer, the New York Times reported.

It appeared to be the climax of a violent domestic quarrel that had spanned from California to India to New Jersey over the past year, authorities and witness said.

As more than 100 worshippers dived under under the pews of St Thomas Syrian Orthodox Knanaya Church, the assilant, after an argument in the foyer, fired four shots from a silver handgun.

They struck his wife, a relative who had recently taken her in ; and a man, the police and witness said.

Pallipurath drove away but was captured in Georgia, the Associated Press reported yesterday.

The other victims were identified by church members as Ms James' relative, Ms Silvy Perincheril, 47, who is the principal of the church's Sunday school, and Mr Dennis John, 23, a church director.

Mr John died later, while Ms Perincheril is in critical condition.

The Clifton police said active restraining orders had been issued in California and New Jersery against the alleged killer after his wife filed domestic violence compliants against him.

She had moved recently to New Jersey. A family friend, Mr Aniyan Panavelil, said Ms James, a registered nurse who grew up in India, married Pallipurath, an American, in India a year ago in an arranged marriage.

Mr Panavelil said the husband returned first to the US and she joined him in Sacramento in January, and soon become a victim of domestic violence. The couple returned to India for a month to try to work things out with counsellers, but the effort failed.

Ms James then took refuge with Ms Perincheril.

She began attending services with Ms Perincheril at the church, where some 60 families- first generation Indian immigrants and their children-gather. Most of them are from the southern Indian state of kerla.

The congregation was nearing the end of its regular service when the gunman arrived.

Ms Suja Alummoottil, 40, was in the foyer with Ms Perincheril and Ms James, discuissing an essay contest for Sunday school classes. The man, she said, wore a black hooded sweatshirt and light-coloured slacks.

He interrupted to say he was Ms Jame's husband and had come to take her home.

" He was telling her, ' I' ve been roaming around without my wife for too long, ' " Ms Alummoottil said.

As Ms James did not respond, Ms Perincheril asked him to leave and talk it over later.

But she was worried and asked Ms Alummoottil to go into the sanctuary and get help.

" I don't want you going anywhere, " the man said.

But Ms Alummoottil ignored him, entered the sanctuary and summoned Ms Perincheril's husband.

They were returing to the foyer when they heard the shots. Moments later, parishioners found Ms James, Ms Perincheril and Mr John shot in the head and lying in the foyer.

I like to say that its not a sin to have sex within a marriage. It is a sin to have sex outside of marriage or before marriage.

why sometimes we fear the worst is because we didn't fear Him enough. It's not just a state of mind - it effects your physical environment. There's profound heavenly wisdom in this; which only the Holy Spirit can explains . You might ask Him to teach you.
