koz the info is incorrect bro.. all 125cc/150cc 2t bikes should gave an output of ard 30+bhp derestricted and tuned up optimally.

all bikes are subjected to some emmision or power restriction be4 being made available for public sales. for ours, is restricted to 15bhp and should not do more than 120km/h actual speed, which showed up 140km/h on my stock meter.

and small 2t bikes are supposely to yield the most power ard or after 10000rpm, koz of the tiny engine. 9000rpm sounds more for bigger 4t bikes.

if the new mito can give 70bhp, all 2a bikes and most 600cc bikes will not be popular anymore.... since the power-to-weight ratio is sebei fierce liao... and of course the fc will be as if it was a big car...:giddy: an idea trackbike for choice!

so far i remembered the 125cc 2t motogp aprilia rsw had the most power in the 125cc class, yielding 50+bhp, and since the power band is tuned for higher rpm oni, normal st riding is almost unbearable, from wad i heard.

Vik, BT39 has no sizes above 120? Its for Jap made bikes SP KR TZM n such. I used to ride SP man.

Cheapest will always be LAB n HKL.

Just stick to GRP's for ur Aprilla and GPR's/Pilot Power for ur RVF. Tested, proven n highly recommended formula in Europe and US. Period.

And if u paranoid n willing to accomodate 160 for ur rear can go for Racetecs.

If u like can try the M3s cos they are really as good as advertised, somemore with the lucky draw thing going on with first price of a Spark135 n 2nd a GPR exhaust for dono what bike.

Anyway there's a rumour in overseas that Michelin may come out with new tyres soon just to rival the M3.

Bro,

I was recommended this tyres by Dr Dol eh. He said they are soft compound and go for track besides GPR 70.. Hmm, i will try to find out more. Maybe i didnt get the model corrext. BT39SS i think..

No more GPR70 liao.. RVF no problem, can use pilot race or pilot power.. The issue is with my aprilia.. I need a 110 front dude.. That's why wondering whether got 110 for Pilot power/race.

Anyway, 160 is too big for noth my bikes liao.. hehe..

If I'm not wrong Wacko (RS250) got his Power Race for $300 from speedway.

120/70 f and 150/60 rear, year of manufacture is '06.

Can get M3's for $300 from JR too, but dont have 140 for the rear.

So far only the GPR-70's replacement tyres - the GPR Alpha-10 has size 140 for the rear, but Racewerks hasnt brought them in yet.

What abt the GPR 100s.. Seen them on edwin's bike.. So many grooves.. Can they be used for track??

And why must raceworkz be the only one bringing in Alpha 10? How abt Ah Boy??

Rex, a stock Mito is 15 BHP not 70. Even a stock RS250 dont hit 70 BHP. And u look at the BHP/KG for the 06 Mito and any 2A bikes. If the BHP/KG is higher the top will b faster which is impossible for stock bikes eh?

Jon, i think even if its a tuned n derestricted bike, the 30+ BHP is still at the crank not at e wheels. In actual fact for stock Mito it should b less than 10 at e wheels already.

Vik, u mix up BT39SS n BT90?

M3 also has alot of big groves but the groves r at e middle strip only. If u look closely at the M3 n GPR100, which has soft compund at the sides, there's no groves there.

I know 160 is a bit too big but some ang mohs with tuned machines r actually using those as they need e extra width so i was saying u can try if u worry abt cornering w/o any allowance left for a 150. If i m not wrong e GP250's r using 160+ too.

Erm sorry long time nv ride a 125 le. Hahas. So u mean now there's even no left over stock for GPR70s? That time i went to ask for my Mito's GPR100 n AL-10. They have 110 but for 140 i will have to order n wait. So i tink e concern now is not a lack of 110 but 140; but i know u use 150 la.

issit?

i presumed they ran dyno runs on the bike itself instead of juz taking out the engine and dyno it? doesn't sounds rite and totally defeats the purpose of noeing how much bhp the bike have ma, since the bike is meant to be ridden as the whole package... :giddy:

any trustable sources or links dat confirmed the bhp for the bike is actually from crank instead of the rear wheel?

from the webbie, the bhp of a honda cub 80cc is ard 7-8bhp. if this info is from rear wheel, makes not much diff from a stock derestricted mito, issit it?

From my knowledge of reading various UK bike magazine, Mito 7 speed is 15bhp restricted/34bhp derestricted. Mito 6 speed 15bhp restricted/31bhp derestricted. I believe most mitos in Singapore are derestricted because 15bhp won't get you past 120km/h. 170+km/h and 30+bhp sounds more like it.

Figures quoted above is bhp at crank only, not at the wheels. At the wheels will lose abt approx 20% claimed bhp on crank. Besides that, as our bike ages, engine wear and tear etc will amount to even further power loss. Even my 12 yr old 34bhp Mito7 feels like a 15bhp le over the years.:giddy:
