Heh oh yeah I tried AS Phoon today. They didn't want to do it either. I think most likely I'll be borrowing from friends first. Owe them better than owing motor shop anyway. Would rather pay them the interest heh. You think you'd be riding your bike tomorrow?

my bike still at FirstMotor... think they quite busy these few days :sian:

Thanks for the tips espido! I've heard a lot about those too, and even that they were on our bridge before haha. Well, I travelled past there last night and was going about 70-80...should be fine right? Cause road limit there is 70.. Was returning from Johore, my friends all went home already.

I'm only afraid that Thursday night, when I first got my bike that night, I might have gotten caught on ECP for you-know-what. Had to follow my friend's mom's car from Fullerton all the way back to deep end of Pasir Ris... SCARY! Heh.

So far, all's good, except I still need to get used to kicking into neutral before stopping...otherwise my gearbox kinda jams up =/.

Anyway, I found this page, don't know if it's entirely useful but just wanna share it with you guys. http://www.cagivaproject.com/manual.htm and it's got 45mb+ worth of information about what seems like an older model Mito. Hope it's useful for us!

Hey guys... think I might have a problem... Sometimes after some hard riding, like 10,000 rpm gear changes and stuff, later on I find that my bike hasn't got much power to electro-start =/. It seems like my battery is weak or something and needs a while to be charged up. Ended up push-starting my bike twice just now...Sigh. Hope this isn't a common problem or something and can be rectified easily... I'm thinking of going down to First Motor tomorrow. Anyone got a clue how much a good service from them would cost?

Hope to see some of you tomorrow!

Cheers!

10k change gear?!?!

you wanna spoil your bike arh...

i 8-9k change gear already kanna scolding from zac... lol...

advisable to change at 6-7k... but sometimes i just want a relaxing ride, i change at 4-5k...

anyways... try riding with the pole light on instead of the headlights...

the headlights drains the batt like crap... i only turn it on when its dark... really dark... if not even at night i ride with only the pole light...

i also wanna go to first motor tomorrow leh...

what time are you going? i think i'm going at like 4...

From then to now...

Ok power. Haha no lah I don't always change at 10, only when I'm playing... most other times I change at 5-6 only... then change pretty quickly too. Dude call me now to see how tomorrow? 94876200 I won't be asleep so soon heh

LOL Chey! It's you ah!! Haha... I thought it was another mito owner or something whom I missed haha. Dey JB was pretty fun...except the roads man... and the kup chais... and their ridiculously cramped bike lanes... and their road lighting. Hahaa... Their V-power is good though =D When you guys going again? I think I wanna go..

Haha no clue man.. my bike doesn't have a fuel level indicator, only low-fuel warning light that's all. But I think it's probably got slightly more than half now.... maybe Wednesday or Thursday go pump again.. Pay in RM so shiok ahah. I hope the "BIG Mitos" come along again too man.. Damien's acceleration is MAD haha..

Kr0n it's best to get the battery checked out, because usually after some hard riding (i like to refer to it as battery recharging) my battery seems to be stronger. Apparently our bikes only start charging at high rpm. Still, i need a new battery every 4-5 months, so maybe it's just me.

Changing gears at 4-5k or 6-7k can??? For my bike is really slow... I normally change at 8-9k.. Changing at 10k will spoil the bike?? Anyway can share how many KM can 1 full tank last? For normal riding mine can last 270km only..:(

hmm...i always change gears at ard 10-11k ..it's realli ok...coz the 'kick' onli comes in at ard 7k...and apparently the batt charges at ard after 6-7k also(accordin to my campmate who used to ride a mito)...and it's kinda true i used to get my batt flat maybe once every week(LL push start lor)...but it hasn't happen for 2 mths now since i started riding in the higher rpms...

aniway i was referin to fixed spd cameras on bridges ...not the mobile types where they stand they on days onli...ride safely ard BT very risky place to spd...

my full tank lasts abt 3-5 days .i nv measured mileage

Hmm..that's quite odd...because I push it often enough I think... Or maybe it gets weak because I use the normal headlight? the single light but brightest setting? Not the parking light or whatever that one's called? But after switching back to the weaker light it seems like not much problem...

Anyway, Sols could you call me when you wake up or something haha because I really want to head over later, but might arrive only at about 5 or so... And if possible, can I meet you somewhere cause I'm not exactly sure how to go on my own =/ Hahah

Cheers!

Sigh... damn sad man. It's quite irritating to keep having to look out for tp init? I think it'd be more practical if they emphasized heavily on not tailgating and driving courteously than telling us not to speed. What's the point of having personal transport if I can get to the same place in almost the same time??? Sheesh..

Anyway, Espido are you from NP as well? Where do you live?
