Was cycling along Siglap, saw an ang moh on a really old, knackered FQ-plated Mito.

 

The old school one with the round headlights and stock purple paintwork.

 

Guy said he bought it for $700. Everything was leaking. Fork leaking oil, brakes leaking oil, rear shock leaking oil.

 

But the engine! Man! It sounds like its using sand for 2T... But the thing still rides.

Wow.... I've finally seen it for myself. Mito are tough cookies.

hey kron dude.... im thinking of going down on monday to first motor and excel cycle to view mitos... soooo.... are you free on monday?? if not monday, any other day?? coz im kinda free these few coming weeks... :smile:

Hmm....Monday will be tough cause I've got 2 projects (neither of which I have begun on hahaa) due on Wednesday. How's about Thursday late afternoon? Or early evening? See if can get more people to come along...the more the better. Shop uncles might feel intimidated to chop you haha.

Thursday?? hmmmzzz... i finish work at 5 pm... still can make it?? anyways, roughly how many mitos are on sale at the bike shops huh??

For Excel and First Motor, if you don't mind saving yourself the trouble (which you rightfully should), then just give them a call to ask. If there are then we can go take a look. 5 is fine with me but I'll need to confirm that as I'm not too sure about my workload for Friday. And Sunday will be the outing already.

There's a million things to be done out there that I can never find the time to do....

And you guys are complaining you're bored?

 

You make me so envious of you. I wish I could stretch my 24 hrs like you do. Wish I could have so much free time that I'll feel like I have no life.

 

Unfortunately, my hours are stretched so thin its hard to catch my breath some days. I dont know what you do, but I'm pretty sure it'll be my dream job!! :lovestruck:

Sols: Go bike hunting in private estates, dress yourself in camo uniform. Conduct top secret clandestine operations to locate the remaining Ducatis and MV Agustas in SG and leave notes in their ERP machines :thumb:
