i bought my mito not in a really good condition, haf to do mild overhaul + makeover, would add up to $1.7k just doing that...

 

so if u wan to save the hassle, get a well maintained one..

 

oh ya, to add on, cheap doesnt mean good, for example fork seals, ppl change them cheap only to know that they are inferior single sided ones,(dunno how to explain, can only pt out the differences).

 

this bike has been around for more den 10yrs, alot of ppl experimented with it, dun say sprocket sizes, chain size too.

 

carb choices and pipe choices too.. some things are proven, for example the tzr125 clutch cables and so on.

 

so doesnt mean if u follow ideas of the group, u will be right.

 

this is one of the few threads that i've been in since the start, seen many ppl's experiences and so on..

 

like wierd stuff that double ring pistons for mito cost more den the single ring one..

 

i am not selfish to share such things, but neither do i like to say everything out here like thius, sounds like bragging.

 

wad to expect from this bike den? its a good stepping stone to class 2a, maintenance has to be done diligently to prvent problems, only drinks min 98 octane fuel,

 

consumption not high if carb set properly. this bike needs lotsa attention, is afraid of the rain in some times..

Sols, u must quickly apply through i-wads to be reimbursed the $25 if not burnt. Only got 1 month to do it since the day u apply for ur defensive riding at the driving centre. I learnt it through the hard way thanks to my sibei nua clerk. Will never see my $25 supposedly to be reimbursed back. Best is to buy your clerk drinks and let him to allow u to use the intranet using his special blue card to use computer. Then u access i wads urself. within few minutes its done. Rather then depend on the clerk to do it for u.

Guys, date n time changed so that we have more time for the trip.... CBR150 group will be going so we shall join the group there but our group i shall lead..... coming back time we set it as vary.... maybe sian then come back earlier lor.... We will go to Kota tingi Centre n makan Bak Kut Teh which is very nice in the morning... total trip to n fro is 160 km. Speed wise for sure wont be too fast.... msia roads not that good at certain places.

Time : 7.45am Singapore time, white card hse (wear sunglasses if possible)

Reach Singapore : b47pm ( wear long sleeve if u dont want to be tanned to a bangkala)
