Luckily my 2T sensors still worked. But no fuel gauge sensor. I think it's spolit since i bought my bike i never knew it existed at all. Been using my hands to weigh the thing once in a while. Got once the rubber clip on the edge of the tank snapped due to me weighing the tank by hand over the months.:giddy:

and planet's full tank is indeed 12.5l... got one time travelled 190km+ then pump! heart was pounding as i searched for a petrol station... and got in 12.3l! heng ah... hahah... left 200ml oni....

sols: wow u got like 280 till empty huh? mine can go 240 onli

Because open up to change, must change the gasket already right? Or something like that. So less than $300 just to change conrod bearing?

xeno why u wanan change conrod bearings? if i am not wrong u need to change the conrod together if the conrod is loose and including the gasket and also labour for taking out the block. it will not be cheap liaoz.

conrod bearing can change without conrod...

but.. unless its super chui, its not gonna be worth it... have to rip the entire engine open just to change the bearing...

meaning new gaskets as jinhanz has mentioned and lots and lots and lots of manhours...

i would suggest that when u open the engine, try to change as many things as possible. u dun wan to open it again dont u? :thumb:

Been riding my Mito for 2 weeks now.

Seeking enlightenment from Mito-Gurus...

Mito-Mystery One:

My mirror keeps on dropping off in mid-ride!

I checked the mirror and found that it's not screwed-on but instead just pushed into the the fairing with 2 scrawny little attachments.

Is it supposed to be this way or am I missing a screw?

Mito Mystery Two:

I accidentally rode over a hump at high-speed and now I can hear something rattling when I'm riding, anybody has a clue what's wrong or what's come loose and bumping around in the body?

Mito Mystery Three:

I keep stalling at junctions when I start from 1st gear.

A friend told me it's because my fuel injector and caburetor's dirty and needs to be cleaned.

Any idea if that's the real problem, and how much it'll cost?

Mito-Newbie thanks Mito-Gurus in advance.

1) Yes there should be a screw... but the screw is very pathetic... the thing that holds the screw down breaks like nobody's business... the 2 scrawny things are supposed to be very tight... ask your mech to adjust for you... its supposed to clip on damn tight one...

2) Hmmm.... Donno...

3) Donno... But if your carb is dirty, its not ex to clean...

From then to now...

How much do you pay to clean your carb?

What about your fuel injector?

Thanks for replying!

1. The mirror holder bracket is corroded, just like mine, it once came lose after i travelled past those speed regulating sripes. I ask the mech to drill a hole near the top of the mirror and insert a screw in place. A bit ugly but damn secure.

2. The Rattling sound could be the number plate behind. It always happen to me :giddy:

3. It happened to me when i first got my bike too, the mech set my idling speed a little higher and problem solved. Sometimes you've to open throttle a bit and kick to first gear at the same time to avoid stalling.

Hope these helps :cheer:
