Corona: u should check out their tech discussions in there. many poeple in there can easily tell u wad jets t o use for wad carb size, and how to clean ur powervalve urself and so on.

the reedcage i'm using was the moto tassirani v force3. can't say how much improvement there is koz my jettings are still not done correctly & boh time to go to bikeshop. there's definately some improvement in the lower end but dunno bout the high end koz when i wot, the power suddenly goes down, possibly the main jet's too rich. so i'm hitting 145km/h on the 3/4 throttle. and my throttle response is very slow in reving up & down.... adjusted the mixture till engine rev down fast, got boggings when i moved off. possibly my idle jet too small?

and the so called flat spot can be eliminated juz by adjusting the mixture to be leaner... word of caution though, if too lean, the engine'll run hotter & some torque'll be lost when the valve opened. so play ard wit it & test ride.

Linglila: Bro there's no tyre best for mito.. But there's tyre that's best for you. Many ppl would prefer 090.. Front is 110/70-17" and rear 150/60-17"

StingRhea: Eh bro got something to ask you liao.. They use TM35 on mito7, but in sg mech says it's too big and said they did porting that's why they use 35.. So are their engine stock or?

I have a shop that spray cars quote me $4/500 for Oxydo paintwork..... haha.... their workmanship is guranteed also..... spray via bike shop they quote u higher cause they want to earn commission. I just got the quote today while they patch my scratched fairings.... for S$30...hehe

Though they claim they use thicker lacuqer or better quality paint, who knows abt it actually? I dont see those who sent to "inferior" spray shops complaining abt faeded or cracked paint at all? So whats really e use of this "thicker" lacquer or "better quality" paint? But e thing abt them is if u want ur very own customised spray job.

cos my current tyres keep giving me trouble especially on raining days....

yesterday riding back home from east coast to wooodlands maintaining at the speed of 120 -140.but when i exit the expressway stop at the traffic light i found out then my exhuast pipe came out alots of smoke just like the exhuast pipe was burning...just then when the traffic turn green i go..i notice alots of sparks keep on come out from the exhuast pipe...then i quick stopped my bike n turn off the engine..more n more smoke came out from the exhuast pipe...in the end ,i went down n look into my exhuast pipe..inside the sliencer is in red colour also damn hot...

anyone got this before??

or anyone knows why izzit like that??? :help: :help:

Packing is burnt/too much carbon deposits.

Anyway what colour is e smoke?

That time my tyre (rear only) around $160 ba, plus workmanship all done at Excel. They also quote me abt $400+ single Mito red color maybe I'll stick to that ba.

Whoa your paintjob so ex, my whole bike fairings is croc skin and cracked except the saitao because the previous owner did'nt spray it so i guess its original paint.

Bro that sound serious man, anyway did u see your tempreature gauge meter while riding? Is it the normal 60-80 Degrees or way higher?

Maybe everything that Ah Huat (Yeow's towkay) claims is really that power?

 

Spraying of both rims cost 100 for SP.

SP rims r e same size as Mito so i dont see y it will b more ex.

You spraying a single colour n u prepare all e stickers urself?

Normal spray shops 200+. Yeow 400.

If got abit of pattern, Yeow 600.

All these are based on SP. For Mito he will charge it as a cls 2A bigger sized bike hence it will b like 100 more ex.

But one thing worthy to mention is his attitude. He will always make u feel like e boss. But i reckon its abit on e high side to pay for it.

 

Anyway motodiams dont do spray jobs. They just send it to spray shops on ur behalf n charge u an admin fee for it. I m not sure abt Excel but i know FM do provide spraying services upstairs of their repairs areas.

 

I think a single mat dark gray colour Mito is e most chio, with CF wrap at e middle section just beside e seat n e front mud guard.

pilot sport good mah... lol... i'm on that now... for my rear... my front is pilot race H2... its damn good too... but i heard that pilot race got compound issues.. thats why they stopped production liao...
