here at jurong west oso have scissors cut curryrice too! though it offered more variety of meat & veggies, the sauce of the original one at jalan besar is unbeatable!

they put so much of the soy sauce & curry on ur rice dat it's almost like a porridge! and the taste is very very unique, not to mention sooo rich & flavor savvy! mmmm... damned i'm hungry liao hahah. dunno are they branches of the original one or not, though i dun see them using scissors to snip. so far oni see jalan besar use scissors to snip the meats, thus the name, scissors cut curry rice!

jasmine ur into marine pets too? i'm going there to look for new additions to my marine fish tank haha... got 3 shops, one big one & 2 smaller ones in dat area. oh got another local seahorse farm too... they're breeding brazilian seahorses in vivid yellow! heheh... :lovestruck:

i think wet cells are supposed to be the cheapest amongdry cell, maintainance free cell, etc. maybe u should check ur rectifier? check out ducatis's thread... which i've listed basically how to determine if ur rectifier's damaged, & maintaining ur batt life :thumb:

Retifier should b fine cos i used a voltmeter to measure before n it was charging a ok.

Guess i will get a d/c converter from Sim Lim then so as to charge it when i m away for a period of time.

Hi guys , i'm the buyer that just took over vivien's lovely bike...as the 'older' mito riders know, i used to ride a FS mito(Xenophobia's bike)...i upgraded to another bigger bike..but sold that just 1 mth ago...

was supposed to go overseas for studies in july but parents decided to let me study here for abt 1 more yr b4 sendin me over...(save a significant amt)..

so i had to get a 'transport' bike...and i comtemplated a wave/vespa or sthm along tht lines til my class2 tp in sept. but then i realised i wont be riding a class2 bike for long if i got one since ultimately i'll be leaving..so a little waste of money ... that's why i finally decided to get back on my first love, a mito !!

hope to meet up with fellow mito lovers soon !

**p/s ---- stinghrea: somehow i'm kinda in yr shoes...ex-mito rider back to another mito...what can a say ... the mito is really a lovely thing. :cheer:

vivien: hopefully you'll be on yr bf's 999 soon haha :thumb:

My IU unit was down once, just replaced to a brand new one at vicom FOC!.

Sting : U changing rims? Besides the newer Mito 5 spokes i can't think of any other type of rims to replace our 3 spoke items.

My bike's bodywork is in a mess now, replaced my cracked side fairing into a yellow one. Whole bike red, only ride side yellow/black. Damn.! Can't wait to do paintwork once i major service e engine.

farmart not fun one.. noah's ark shifted to m'sia liao.. sg left what other farms?

btw what happen to wan? WHAT HAPPEN TO WAN?! argh!! no wan to accompany me liao..

I use...

1. Kerosene - remove all the oil and dirt from everything...

2. Mama Lemon/Black Magic Car Wash - Wash lor.. remove the kerosene

3. GT85 - coat the insides of the fairing so next time not so hard to clean

4. WD40/GT85 - clean rims

5. Autosol - Metal Polish

6. Turtle Wax Metalic - waxing lor

7. Motul Shine and Go - plastic shine also coat the rims WARNING: silicon based slippery stuff on tires

Lots of kitchen paper towels, tissue, soft cloths, sponges, scrubbing pads...

I got a car jack to jack up the wheels... front and back to clean...

I used to use the car wash stuff... but mama lemon is better... make sure you clean off well lah... and rewax...

the scrubbing pads are damn good for metal parts... esp the rough rough part on the frame... used lightly on the forks removes water stains which i've never been able to remove...

for me, the dirtiest part was the left side of the bike... cos of the chain... i always cleaned the chain.. but still very dirty... so i opened the front sprocket cover this time and cleaned it... you will never expect that so much gunk will accumulate there... omg... i totally removed all the gunk there and coated it with GT85... now my bike doesn't get that dirty that quickly liao... my chain guard got no thick layer of oil, my rims no more black black oil... undertray also quite clean liao...

From then to now...
