k guys now i know alot more ... so i think i must go to ah seng again lol ... i jus changed the spark plug to egv9 and its good but i think coz of my 2t mixture set to high it gets black easily ... btw any shop can do tunin rite ? or only ah seng ... how abt michael chong at kallang cycles ? ... wat u guys think of him i stay in balestier anyway... JLN RAJAH.... anyone wants to meet some time ...

and actually u can start the bike easily even in cold weathers(at the 1st try) if the mixture is set too rich. but if the carb is flooded, u'll have difficulty in starting ur bike too. u can determine easily if ur plug's dry(too lean) or wet(too rich).

next time u have difficulty in starting at the 1st try, engage ur choke to see if u can start easily. if the engine still wun fire, then means the carb flooded liao. u gotta hold down the starter to expel excess fuel(disengage the choke 1st!). then when the engine's started & idling was feeble, let it ran for few minutes be4 attempting to rev up slowly.

black means ur mixture is set too rich bro... u cant actually determine the 2t oil level juz by looking at the plug colour .

infact u should do a plug chop on ur wot to determine if ur main jet's too rich or too lean. and any shop can do jetting & tuning of the mixture screw... simply a matter of worksmanship & skills

For mito7 it uses 15w50 for it's gear.. How abt mito6?

i wan motul 600! haha... motul factoryline like break down pretty fast on my bike eh... changed to 10w40 & it ran smooth like butter for 2-3weeks before harsh shifting again, so din noe bout motul transoil expert.

used maxima 5w50, a month liao still pretty smooth... shifting to neutral when stopped on the 1st try!

but heard all prices went up by a couple of dollars liao?

stingrhea: i asked lionel how long it would take..he said if all goes well 2 days is sufficient...but yest i sent over n decided to change then ah seng said politely they quite busy so most prob need 4-5 days...i think because wan23's bike need to change piston as well...and his lineup was before me... lionel qouted me lower 300's...he said not more than 350 definitely..

 

MaNnu: michael at Kallang Cycles is very competent...i used to send my ducati to him...alot of ducati owners go to him so that means only can mean one thing....his prices r very competitive relative to Minerva...but he's a one-man show so sometimes normal jobs take a longer time..esp on sat afternoons...u'll see 4-5 ducati's waiting there for their turn...haha

10.2k machine price

insurance 1041

everything on the road was quoted 11.8k

with a free normal helmet and bike cover and legal arrow exhaust pipe..

sound cheap maybe.. not so sure..

i am very curious abt the differnt of abt 2k(not justifable)..

since the machine price is difference by only 600

how come when everyting add up is 13.8k

are they trying to push the 05 stock so tat the 06rs can come in?

or they jus jack up the mito price so tat people will buy 05 rs ??

mitos do have lta compliant arrow exhausts.... but do take servopax's advice & find out wad are the components in the cost of a new bike.
