i called raceworks just now, they have both aftermarket ones and original ones.. is there a very big difference? cos the pricing wise really 1 sky 1 earth!

if i rem correctly, the aftermarket one is japanese block. single ring.

 

original is double ring... or it might be the other way around.

 

the price is one sky one earth one...

 

you can actually call ducati singapore to check price. but if i'm not wrong norman gets a slight discount as a workshop as compared to walk in.

isn't block = piston? lol...

 

change of rod is about 800 if i rem correctly. when they change the rod, its always better to top up a bit more for high speed bearings as compared to the original ones. there's alot less vibration and the bike runs smoother and sounds nicer. its only like $50 more or $50 for the bearings if i rem correctly.

 

i kept my old rod as a keychain... lol... very big keychain, but when you polish it buffs into a nice bronze colour...

 

then if you have the spare cash, decarb and repack the exhaust and the sound is really

i only asked for piston's price, about 280 for aftermarket single ring flat head, 500+ for original.. block i dont dare to ask.. haha..
