Battery cost me 65 bucks and I bought 2 spark plug at 16 bucks from unique motorsport. Think the price and service there quite good.

Excel : 2nd hand block (choose from their stock, taken from scrapped bike)

New piston (didn't mention brand)

New conrod (didn't mention brand)

Crankshaft / crankshaft bearings swop (was told that they'll change your bikes with their ones. Mentioned they got the means to align it also)

Estimated $1400-1500 including overhaul workmanship, 2-3days. *bike must be serviced there

First Motor : i called a few times and most replies were "no stock" , "don't know", "not sure price", "must order, not sure."

AK Motorsports : ok this one not exactly parts seller, but can help to install. Bring the parts and just pay them for workmanship. Xiao yang and pranzer went before.

Replacement (only) of block, piston and conrod $200-$300

Full Overhaul $400-$500

I ordered my set of gaskets on October 2008, he requested payment before ordering, and said to deliver 3 to 4 weeks upon payment. but 1mth+ later, I kena fly aeroplane many time lor. I call and call and call, sometimes answered, sometimes not answered. When answered, he said he would call "parts dept" to check and call me back again, but never called back.. I got this 3 to 4 times at least. At last, he answered something stupid to me, "parts dept" say don't have the parts i ordered. Damn hot, wanna explode already! Then I asked for a refund, he said he will send a cheque to me. After awhile, he called again, saying that amount too little to issue a cheque! WTF??? WASTE MY TIME! I tried to order from them, but I/they failed. I had no choice, but to order from some other source. Therefore until now, I haven't been to Hong Seh Motors to get my money back....

 

Quite a long story, but thanks to those who bother to read it. It is just what i have experienced trying to deal with them... Although the amount is not much, but it's still business.

*No offence to Hong Seh Motors, but I really think you should buck up.
