guys, i have a minor problem here i would like you guys to help me rectify. recently i encountered this problem of starting my mito and letting it to cool down, while i was about to engage to gear one, i can hear my exhaust POK POK POK, as if its dying already, it emits alot of smoke. then it died on me. the second time i start, the spark plug is already dead.

 

for this problem i changed 3 spark plug in a week.

 

everytime i change a new sparkplug it could only last for a journey or a night.

 

most prob the carb is flooding... pok pok sound normally comes from back fire... (fuel accumulating in exhaust)

 

engine dying pok pok pok might also be clog fuel line or kinked fuel line... pick up the tank and see it got kanna kiap or not...

 

engaging gear one engine dying can be clutch worn out... or like i said before, adjust clutch cable or idling can help...

 

alot of smoke... too much 2T...

 

Too much 2T can foul the plug...

 

Too lean (little fuel) can foul the plug...

 

Too rich (alot of fuel) also can foul the plug...

 

Plug head white... Lean...

Plug head black... 2T / rich...

 

Plug gap also much check... if plug gap is incorrect, can short circuit... plug may look the same and fit, might not mean the plug gap is the same...

 

when buying plug make sure model or plug gap is the same...

There isnt much difference raptor is just the newer version of a planet.. Was changed after harley took over the company..

 

2nd hand ones i've seen it around at alexander bike shop area and bedok try checking there cant remember shop name..
