is the ESSO semi-synthetic low smoke one good? the bike shop near my place only selling esso lubes.

Semi-syn not recommended for our bikes bro, i think most of us are using fully syn. Rockoil or Motul seems to be the best bet. I'm trying out the Rockoil go-kart 2T from first motor, but it's a little too smokey, will probably switch back to the strawberry flavour Rockoil one.

Hey is anyone of you here riding a black/red/white mito? i passed you on ECP kept looking at you expecting to wave back or something, but you just look straaaaaaaaaaight all the way until I sian look at you, so I cut you (and four other bikers) at that corner slip into ECP hehe... pai seh ah! nex time at least look back and lemme wave at you ah!!

wah lau eh juz get green-tea lah (Motul666), cheapest yet one of the best Esther based fully synthetic stuff available out there...

 

$18 at Mah Motor (that's the only most accessible place I can think of right now..)

Yeah my bike is at FM, letting them settle the annual inspection for me. It wasn't me having a smoke though, i just dropped the bike off and left, gonna pick it up on friday morning, still got road tax/insurance to settle and friday is my due date.

the go-kart one is very smelly

wah LE you use the esther+castor blend ah? wahlau, sibei experimental ah you.. that one can tahan up to 22,000 RPM sia!!

 

how's the performance? price? (BTW since it's got castor in it, it's advisable to go for more regular decarbonizing of internals.)

oh i had tht haristtyle for a breif period onli haha..

 

aniway i use catrol fully syn acing 2t ...not too bad la..it's castrol afterall..16 per bottle.very sweet smelling too!..

actually, semi-syn and full-syn got any effect on performance? full-syn for cheong use is it? semi-syn for transport use?

 

i hand very itchy fill until very full exceed max mark, no problem right?

fully syn def better for out bikes la i think. u onli wan the best for yr mito rite.haha..yea it's fine there was once i filled unil the brim i had to use cloth to absorb some of the 2T fr the reservior b4 i can even screw the cap on.

 

if u wan alot white smoke n slightly better performace pour a small amt of 2t into yr tank when u top up fuel...my friends say one la.of coz none of us tried la.

 

aniway ani of u all go malaysia? like juz to pump fuel n stuff

just trying it out cos first motor got no fully syn and my 2t really very low liao

performance i dont feel any but really very smelly

this is wat i do in the past.. wheneva i top 2t.. pour a cap of 2t into ur tank.. shake shake shake will make the bike smoother.. the mixture of petrol n 2t in the tank provides xtra smoothness.. but remember ar.. always shake shake shake b4 u ride.. esp if u left it overnite.. warm up a little b4 u ride.. arbo 70 bucks ba gua will b blanjah by ministry of environment for excessive white smoke..

talking abt premixing, i used to do tt a lot...

the really bad thing abt it is that you tend to clog up your powervalve *really* fast... abt once every 3 months...
