Hey any XBOX 360 owners?

 

just bought one recently and wondering if any fellows here wanna play online for fun. i play online with strangers dam frustrating, all dam skilled out to increase points kept getting killed; i'm in it just for fun. plus dam irritated to hear ang moh cursing and swearing in the background.

 

i've got COD4, Forza2, Ace Combat 6, Halo 3 and NFS Most Wanted.

Don't really like FPS on war series. But I like Condemned 2l. This game give me hell lot of creep.

GT is GSR Fighter

 

Playing mostly COD4 online (custom MP5 with red-sight scope, jungle camo, RPG perk 1, Stopping Power perk 2 and Juggernaut perk 3.

 

Just started on GTA4 online last night with a buddy.

Damn fun playing with a teammate.

I tried piloting an Annhilator chopper with my buddy sitting shotgun.

Both of us ended in crashing in the water.

 

Damn hilarious.

Add me in. I often go online COD4 with some ex-clanmates on Friday evenings (after 9pm) if I don't have a GSR outing that nite.

You can join in with us and have some fun kick American arses.

There's 2 more forumers here that also play COD4 quite often.

 

I'll be online later after 7:30pm onwards. See if you can add me then.

 

Do get GTA4.

The MP is not as good as COD4. But not bad on its own.

Its one of the few rare games that has better single-player than multiplayer (last one was Elder Scrolls: Oblivion).

People selling near brand-new for like $60. I got mine brand new at $74 at launch day.

sounds like fun, but frite nite usually i go out with my bikermates. i'll see if i have the time to join in. cant stand all those ang moh with their cursing and swearing.

 

i only just hit master gunnery sergeant. quite a beginner.

One of the many done.

Avoid watching the GameTrailers.com ones. They are a bit biased towards Xbox360 (although more detailed).

 

Not much difference.

PS3 version appears brighter a bit but not much difference in graphical detail.

PS3 has one slight advantage that is has faster loading times due to the initial 5-minutes installation done.

 

But apparently, PS3 versions are having a major game-freeze problem where the game randomly freezes within minutes into the game.

More apparent for PS3 owners. A few reported cases for Xbox360 (my fren being one of them) but not as apparent or widespread as PS3s.

 

One thing I have realized that when I eject the CD out after playing some time, the CD is damn hot compared to other games I've played.

izzit just me, or is the COD network realli terrible lately?

 

i activated my gold account bout 2 weeks ago, first week everything was just great.

 

but the past week, the lag is terrible. past few days, i practically cant even play mmp online. i move forward.... one second later i reverse back to my original position. i move left.... and i reverse back again. then i leave my controller alone... and i move around like its got a mind of its own.

 

and after all that i get 'game lobby closed' and 'disconnected due to transmission error'.

 

bloody fed up.

i've discovered that by connecting my console directly to my router instead of via my xbox wireless card, the lag problem immediately disappears.

 

now wondering if i have a faulty wireless card.

Dun use wireless.

I know its convenient but its not advisable to use a wireless connection to your router.

Already your max bandwidth is already reduced by half when you use wireless.

I use a router at home but still connects my 360 via a RJ45 cable.

 

Also, there are tricks to do on the router to make the connection more efficient.

Hi all!

 

I also just joined the 360 revolution!

 

My 360 games include WE2008, GTA4, DOAX2, PGR3, KOFCOD and N3. I also have older Xbox titles playable on the 360, like NG, PGR2, MotoGP2, Rallisport 1, LOTR ROTK.

 

So far have not got a LIVE subscription yet as I can only find time to play on weekends. Even then, I can play for only 2 hours. Weekdays super busy lah :(

Recon, assaulters, snipers, support as well as mobile artillery, airstrike and using tanks, IFVs and transport runners.

 

COD4 rocked.
