I checked gameshop.com.sg and the release date for the Aerosmith bundle is end of August???

 

Anyway, I am 2nd in reserve for someone's used GH3 bundle @ $90... if the first buyer backs out then I'm next in line.

 

either they haven update the release date, or august is for singapore. coz a few weeks ago, all over internet its release date was stated as august too, but only recently i suddenly see a june 29 release date. i'm hoping we're included.

They're pretty ok. The customer support on the phone were very friendly and helpful.

I think its a great option. Unless you can get superb discounts at a shop you've been with for decades, its the same with paying retail prices at this website, except they deliver to your place at your time of choosing.

Try calling them. The CS are pretty up-to-date on the status of games they are selling like when the shipment arrives, etc.

swirl, you try posting in bob forums at http://www.bob.com.sg you could get more exopsure there. Mainly this game is selling at $50 because many people don't really like it after playing it. It's not a game that can move consoles, unlike MGS4 which spiked sales of PS3 consoles everywhere.

By the way, my console is an older version i.e. exchanged set from MS. I got the console from Cloverian (GamerScore over 60k siah!) and am wondering if the console can support a HDMI cable connection to a 1080p Full-HD TV?

 

I heard that only the newer Pro and Elite consoles have the HDMI port. If that's the case, does this mean I have no option at all of playing my games in Full HD?

Hey guys, i think my 360 is spoilt, each time i put in the disc, 5mins later while im playing, the screen hangs, press all the buttons but nothing happens. i try another game, and the same thing, the screen just hangs, i doubt its my game that is spoilt, cos they are new.

 

this 360 of mine was replaced 6months ago cos the old one had the ring of death, haiz....why im getting all the spoilt ones? or issit the 360 that has alot of problems?

Any lights flashing on ring ard the power button?

where to send for repair ? local video game shop? that time when i went to xchange the console for the warranty was at funan IT, free of charge. i guess this is diff prob. haiz..nvm la.

Just got Rumble Roses XX (old game), Fallout 3. Still playing Ninja Gaiden II, GTA IV, PES 2008. Only game I've completed to date is COD4, GH3 and GH:A. I play GH:WT on my friend's PS3. That way, I can rock with the guitar while he plays the drums. The rest of my games, well, no time to really play each game until completed. My collection of games is quite large, because I don't sell off the games I've completed or gotten bored with.

 

Plan to get COD:WoW soon.

i stopped playing NG2 after i tried DMC4. i find DMC4 much better; the enemies are not insane and overall has a cooler anime-like look.

I think if your set is modded and you buy the bootleg games, there is no point in getting original games lor. hehehe

 

I've heard of some people who modded their consoles and then kena RROD. Suck balls, cannot exchange with Microsoft, so lan-lan have to buy new console.

not to mention the fact that a modded console will be banned from xbox live. dats too big a sacrifice for cheap games.

 

and besides i noticed after the big cleanup of a few years ago, pirated discs are practically non-existent nowadays.

precisely. pirated discs can still be found across the causeway but you risk getting caught and fined if you are found in possession of the discs at the customs checkpoints. nowadays, the customs officials don't go for just the hardcore porn discs and computer software. any infringement of intellectual property rights will probably be dealt with as well.

 

some try their luck with kids' discs such as barney, kung fu panda, bootleg cartoons, kiddy console games, etc. i stopped travelling to JB for shopping a long time ago, because of the usafe environment there. no point travel all the way to save a few dollars on household goods, just to risk being robbed and such.
