Sadly, I am not allowed near the blender due to an unfortunate incident a few years back, when I was young I placed my brothers GI joes into a blender, till this day, not allowed near it. Still have to stir...

Anyway, did some light cardio work this morning, try to cut down on food, so light breakfast after my half an hour work out, a bowl of cereal, later took my protein shake and some creatine, going to do weights after an hour, after gym will take another shake.

Dinner I will either just have an egg white omelette with either grilled fish or beef.

How is that?

Cheers

If you want to build up mass, that is definitely not the way of eating. To build up quality mass, you have to eat lots of protein based food and a portion of carbohydrates as well. Plus you have to eat at least 6 meals a day.

Currently, I'm eating normally and not really counting calories or refraining from fatty food. Just two sessions of weight training and my body is responding favourably. Muscle fibres possess memory so the moment I started training again, they quickly responded. However, my body now is so sore that I can't straighten my arms cos I trained my biceps two days ago. As for my stomach, it really needs a LOT of work if it is going back to its original size before my back injury. 5 inches of flabby fat needs to be trimmed... :sian:

if you wanna loose some fats, you should stop taking creatine. creatine makes you hold water. creatine and loosing fats don't get along.

take more proteins together with amino acids and L carnitine, you can loose some. or you want to try CLA. this one reduce fats and build muscle.(i'm taking this one now with Prima Force Thermal Rage)

take 5 to 6 small meals a day.

i have lost about 5kgs since Xmas. :goodluck:

Ya, I need to burn off my spare tires before I pump up, plus got an IPPT coming up. So, have to shed off some off those fats first.

Know of any gyms with cheap entry costs (etc $2.50) and with huge facilities?

tired of waiting for my turn at some stations.

Most of the Sports Councils ClubFITT gyms charge $2.50 per entry. I'm sure there's one located near your place. Where do you live, mika???

Hiz Aie!

I stay in Bishan.

There's a ClubFITT at both Bishan and Yio Chu Kang Stadium.

But these 2 places were always extremely cramped and i had a very hard time doing my weights without pple waiting for me impatiently to finish my sets.

Sometimes there were even pple who hog the bench press station for almost an hour.

I used to frequent Toa Payoh Safra. the place and facility is very good and up to my standard, but at a price of $10.50 per entry during peak hours puts me off.

Very sianzz...

Anyone can recommend me a place?

If you trained at SAFRA before, you must have that HomeTeam NS membership card, right? Cos if you do, then you can come over to where I train, SPANS gym which is located at Balestier. Entrance fee before 5pm for members is just $2. However, if you are not a police reservist, the entrance fee may differ. Not packed at all the place... :thumb:

Hi Aie!

Thanks for your help!

I am a Safra member. Not sure if my membership can be used in SPAN.

Usually I only go to gym around 6pm which is peak hours.

Is the charges the same?

 wana ask u guys here, those where the gyms that our national bodybuilders train? Last time there are 2 places tat i went to watch, 1 is at pasir panjang CC & the other is at kampong ubi, but all since has been close down liao.

Those places are damn power, no air-con, most of the equipment are free-weights. U can see those hardcore bodybuilders training. The environment really gives u the motivation. Unlike nowadays gyms so comfy, all air-con & have plenty of machines then free weights :weep:

SPANS-JOM Clubhouse is located at 31 Ah Hood Road. From Balestier Road, you can enter via Ah Hood road itself or through Jalan Rajah. From PIE, you can see the clubhouse which is next to a huge canal opposite the Toa Payoh Town park. Hope this map helps. SPANS is the one indicated with the red star...

The last two times I went to watch the competition a few years ago, although it is free, tickets are required for entry. Is it possible for you to get for us tickets, cheeko, if we are interested in going???

OK. I've got the info liao. The competition this year will be held at Victoria Theatre on the 6th May 2007. I think the ticket prices should be like the past years. $5 and $10. When I'm free, I'll call up the SBBF office to check whether tickets are already on sale or not. If they are, I'll drop by their office to buy the tickets. Those who are interested in going, kindly append your names. As for payment, as usual, I'll give my POSB account number and you all transfer the money. Once the due date expires, I'll buy the tickets for whoever have made payment. For those who haven't, you can get the tickets yourselves either at Good Health Distributors, Tannery Road, through gym instructors at the various gyms or the venue on the day itself. For now, see how the response is first...

Well, felt very happy for him. He even gave me his appreciation after the event. Guess my days of competing is over.. Its good to see the younger generation prevail for the sport.. 2 thumbs up.. :thumb: :thumb:
