It was at the recommendation of a fellow rider. Tried the SG-Renggam route yesterday morning. Nothing technical, not challenging. But it was for about the ride and being on the road. Takes less than 2hrs each way - so I was back home in time for breakfast with the Missus and little one.

Yes - I'm pretty sure it gets chillingly cold in the early mornings. I'm generally a morning person - so that ride wasn't at all fatiguing for me.

Hahaha... Possibly. But notice that fluorescent triangular sticker on that 200cc thumper? I've only just obtained my 2B license earlier this year, and will have to wait awhile before that "biger bike bug" can bite.

I'm also a relatively new rider, having got my licence well after my middle age. Recently have been taking short rides up to Malaysia on weekends. So far, I've ridden to Malacca, Muar, Pontian, Yong Peng, Paloh, Kulai, Kluang, Mersing, Kuala Rompin, Sungai Renggit, Desaru, and of course JB. Most of my rides are solo or with 1 other bike. I ride a Super4 Revo.

Once you get out of JB, the roads are quite good, and I love the light traffic and windy roads of rural Malaysia. Planning to ride to KL and Penang one of these months.

I've done 2 KL trips last month. Actually, was up there to sort out some admin.

Yes. Due to my limited license, I'm confined to something below 200cc. But the humble Pulsar 200NS proved a trusty companion on those trips. Would have loved a larger displacement though. But that will have to wait till I'm eligible to move up the license class ladder.
