oh yea... sterring cone -->> handle bar

cone bearrings -->> bearrings in handle bar that assist you to turn..

correct? If not correct den can correct me again.. keke.. i guess that's the meaning bah.. :D

steering cone is the hole where the shaft of the triple clamp turn around..

within the hole are the bearings aka cone bearing..

but in general, if the mech say yr steering cone spoil, means yr cone bearing spoil..

remember to go to reputable one cos some will chop u as they noe u are newbie to the biking..

if piston having problem, i dun think can even crank start the bike due to lose of compression..

if the ring is damage.. u will experience loss in compression..

therefore loss of power in bike or even cannot start..

if piston gone, dun even think of it..

Hi, i heard if u change piston ring often, can reduce the sound? as in the bike wont be so noisy when at high rpm.. anyone gg xing hock to do servicing?

5 June 08 -> Pass 2B

8 June 08 -> NSR150 SP FU***S

if u hav to change piston often, hav a check on the 2t intake and the block..

there isn't a need to change the ring often unless something is wrong..

:)

oop.. dbl post.. oh thank.. but my mechanic told me this =/ btw how do we check the tyre pressure for our tyre? currently use battlax bt039 110/70 and 80/90 .. ps abit off topic here.

its normal. normal should be around 1.3k to 1k anything less will cut the engine off. you can change the ide speed at the right side of you carburtter:D
