yes there is a 600cc version - CBF600.

in fact i think that is a simple bike.

its carburators & without HISS.

should be easy to maintain.

quite like it too.

 

the 1000cc is totally diff.

its EFI.

literature suggest that its using CBR1000RR performance engine.

 

just like to compare a bit lah.

i was wondering why do Hondas come out with this CBF1000 when they already have the hornet 900 and the x11?

think x-11 not produced anymore, right..? and it's totally naked whereas this has a head fairing. hornet is also only available unfaired right? plus it has a more powerful engine (than the CBFs), and no ABS or linked brakes.

 

this CBF series makes less power but makes it over broader rpms, and has ABS and linked brakes, and optional luggage kit too. seems like honda is differentiating the muscle/streetfighter and sport-touring models quite a bit, unlike the other manufacturers, who just slap on a head fairing, tweak the gearing, etc
