Need help!, waiting at double yellow zigzag lines.

I waited for my friend at a double yellow zigzag line cause i saw alot of people waiting there also, even a taxi.. Then a kind officer, supposedly patrolling the NDP rehersal kindly asked me to move. Its the area before the esplanade bridgewalk. Think i tio summon a not? How many pts.
