Help!!!Bike GOt hitting sound and burn smell!!!

Last week ago i start to notice my bike seem to have a burn smell dunno coming from where. and i could feel my gear box inside got metal hitting metal sound sometime when i on road.

 

I read thru could i be Crutch plate problem? causing burn smell and hitting noise?

u try clutch in see if got the hitting sound anot ..... if clutch in dun have but when release clutch got ...maybe is ur clutch housing common problem.... got burning smell ...issit u keep on drag ur gear or playing pickup...

Burn smell? most probably u clutch plate. it is somehow quite common for sp kawa all this to have this smell. not to worry. get ur bike check. slowly mai kan chiong.

xiaowen, the sound come some where inside gear box like that leh. around there. can feel it. then for burn smell can just leave it without changing?

when at stationary, neutral gear do you hear the sound? if yes , when u clutch in, does it goes away? i used to ride sp, the smell i jus let it be. not everytime got the smell right? i believe at times when ur bike is not properly warmed up or u stick to high rpm for quite sometime then got such smell right?

the sound is dunno when come de. when on road. half way u can feel the sound de. smell is only sometime then got. only when faster speed.

sound u dunno from where? erm. u need to describe more in order for us to give some common reasons. otherwise bring it to a mechanic to check and then post the problem up here for us to give u advise. regarding the smell, it shall not be a big hassle. not to worry.

BAck again. I went to planet motor yesterday and change my crutch plate. The person say is burn. Haha. hitting sound since i change nv encounter.

 

the worst thing is the mech ask me did u put medical oil into yr motor? i look puzzle at him. Siao bo. Why i put medical sia. improve pick up? haha

maybe is yr previous owner put that..

but is not at the engine.. is at the exhaust section..
