Hey ramsnake, which type of tank pad did u get from motoworld. I went over there to look for one too.. but i cant decide which one get... most of theirs suits more into high cc sportbike.

 

Anyway, any body tried using muc-off cleaner to wash ur bike? I've seen some videos online that they are pretty powerful clearner, either cleaning body, chains, or rims, they are a good sand,dirt and grease remover. Can see the products and video at www dot muc-off dot com. Motoworld sell one big bottle ard 1litre like $1x, like quite cheap. Maybe other places have cheaper rates? haha... wanted to try washing my baby myself... D'Gapz have moved to somewhere and they have yet to start their business.

Hey bro, I got e Muc-Off Biodegradable Bike Cleaner, pink colour bottle, it's around $1x at motoworld. It's really a powerful cleaner indeed. Muc-Off Biodegradable Bike Cleaner is rather an overall cleaner not for specific parts, it's an all-in-one cleaner which u can use to wash all the parts including ur precious chain,disc brake, and other dirt. Mine works great, but i didnt finish it off with perfection cos I didnt get my baby to wash for like 2-3mths time, so the grease and dirts clog up layer and layer, it took mi some time to wash it. Haha. I feel that the effect is really good, cos it's quite an instant effect. Wat i did is area by area, start off with chain, spray some water onto the chain, then use the cleaner and spray onto the chain, let the solution stay for awhile and start brushing it off... everything comes out easily. Best to get some good washing equipment, but i've got a toothbrush and my brush turns black lol... it really shows the effect there... Next, i did on my rims and rear disc brake, follow by my front disc brake, and lastly the rest of the bike. Before wash, my front brakes keeps giving out "squeek" sound, after e wash, it's perfect, the sound is gone . But I see that the shine isnt there as shiny compare to.... from wat the picture display at motoworld lol... And the usage isnt really that much for e solution. Maybe a bi-weekly wash might be able to last u for more then 20 wash? or even more... Depend on how dirty it is Well, i dont mind sharing my bottle with you to try out the effect of it first before u really think of getting one, cos it quite a big bottle....

 

If u wanna get those specialise type which is the chain cleaner and the disc cleaner, i suggest u try out the normal pink bottle one 1st... If the effect doesnt meet up to ur standards, then u might wan to try the specialise type one. )

 

Hehehe!! Overall i give it a 9.5/10. 0.5 goes away cos it doesnt suit bikes that are seldomly wash for like 2-3mths. )) Indeed a real good cleaner. haha..

 

Roy also mention, u never try u never know, so just gif it a try and evaluate it. Be it good or bad
