my friend was involved in an accident. he was ridding a motorcycle depicted in the picture as a green block.

the red block is the car that banged into my friend.

blue blocks are cars waiting to move.

driver admitted was his fault. when my friend contacted the driver's insurance agency to claim. they said they will not compensate 100% as the road is a single lane carriageway.

the argument is that although its a single lane carriageway, 2 cars could fit side by side. so there was definatly space to fit a bike.

the repair costs for my friend's bike will be estimated as 3-4k.

so the question is how can my friend claim the money. driver already agreed it was his fault.

thanks in advance

to what i think.. hard to claim 100%.. driver there and then will admit his fault.. but you never know what happens after that. stories can twist.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

insurance co will always twist n turn to pay as little as possible. just argue/bug them with facts, not if can or cannot. or the other way to 'play' with them is to change all those extra parts too, up the cost to like 5-6k, the good parts keep n sell to friends or trade them back.

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

1) is your friend injured in the accident? hospitalized?

2) was this police case? if yes, wats the verdict from IO?
