My tank is still 3/4 full and can make it to JB but x1r guy has only left less than 1/2 and he think cannot make it to JB.

 

He ask to go off and he will wait for the tanker to come. Knowing Malaysian way of working I told him that I will follow him behind. He than left and I followed.

 

As he wanted to conserve fuel he rode at around 80 to 90km/hr on the left lane. Kup kia and lorries overtake him on his left and right. I than overtake him and signal that he follow me to ride on the shoulder as his speed is slow.

 

Just before Kului exit I stopped and find how his fuel situation. His tank is almost empty. We decided to exit to Kului and pump, when we reach the petrol station he only left 200ml of petrol(0.2litre)left.

 

We left for JB via NSHW and I parted with him at Caltex, my tank is still full and I then go through custom.

Yup2 ... hopefully after the Hari Raya Season, we cud all go for another road trip.

Anybody got any ideas (1 day / 2D1N affair) do kindly take the lead yer. :thumb:

Well, I have a deep wound on my left knee accompanied with several wounds on my left thigh too! A wound on my right knee... 2 wounds on my abdomen.

 

Needless to say, when the nurse put sodium chloride on my wound daily at the polyclinic... I tell you man... the pain is excruciating!!!

 

I just pray that my wounds will heal faster! :pray:

i guess ur mishap do serve as a reminder to all of us the need to wear FULL if not PROPER Riding Gear when touring.

I guess i myself gotta invest in an armoured touring pants soon. :sweat:

hehe... for me, when starting to ride on my bike next week... I'll be wearing armoured pants all the time! So that I'll not aggravate the injuries again! :thumb:

fret not .. look on the bright side.

If not for jacket and gloves, GOD noes wat cud have happened to ur body or palm/hand.

 

torn jackets/gloves can always buy a new one, although might burn a hole in ur pocket. But a torn body, like dat no more chiobu lei ...... :cheeky:

Happy to hear that you are recovering well.

 

I'm currently wearing Komine Protect Denim Jean with amour on the knee and kevlar padding. Bought it less than $150 a few years back. A cheaper alternative will be wearing knee pad like inline skater. Many Malaysian bikers wear it under their normal jean so its no obvious as its usually the knee that will make the first contact during a fall.

 

Another option will be to mass order for those who are interested and get better price and get Zamani:thumb: to start the ball rolling, since your are going to invest in amour jean or amour touring pants.

 

PS: A big thank you again for Zamani n Richard for organizing the trip. Its a pleasure to ride with fellow bikers.
