Michelion pilot sc, pilot s1, city urban sport n bopper.

Or anyone got other better suggestions, thanx.

xcuse me peepz, i've got a ques..
i changed my filter to K&N less than 2 weeks ago..i juz realised that the filter actually sits on this metal thingy (sorry,not sure wat its kold) and it causes my filter to partially melt.. juz wonderin if its normal or....? will it have any effect on any thing at all? im a super noob.. n thanx in advance..

go to the bike shop that u install for ur knn filter and adjust the filter to the correct position... it wasnt suppose to touch anything.. correct me if im wrong ppl...

I noe there r a lot of choices out there, but im looking for a tyre wif gd milage n a little of that xtra lean angle, something like the michelin pilot rd 2, hehehe.

Hey guys, just share with you some bad experience i've encountered so far with a very dishonest mechanic. Please take note that, my intention is not to flame the owner of the shop but to feedback negative experience like that so people will be wary in the future. Some of you here would know where i always go to service my bike, and what i always do over there.

SO, here's the thing, about 1 year ago i had done whole lot of modification to one of my other Runner which was repossesed, those internal modifications include my stock Piaggio block and piston, camshaft, valve stem and spring.

By the way, if YOU are reading this, i'm sure you are aware that i still have an outstanding payment of $350. Want me to pay? CAN. Dig out my stock block and piston, camshaft, valve stem and spring, gears and the polini bell. I COME DOWN ANYTIME TO PAY YOU CASH FOR THE OUTSTANDING

NOW, apparently all payments have already been made for my first vxr runner and thanks to the owner of the shop, i was given privilege to pay by installment judging by our mutual trust. But what happened was, before settling my payments with the shop, i checked with the JUNIOR MECHANIC if they could return me my original parts and they told me that i had to settle my payments with the shop owner before i could get it back. (This happened long time ago but nothing has been done till now)

And after SETTLING ALL OF MY PAYMENTS for my first Runner, THE JUNIOR MECHANIC gave me all kinds of excuses saying that my parts couldn't be found and assume that i had already taken them back which i did not. I asked the boss, and he even pin-pointed the mechs for not being responsible BUT STILL nothing was done to resolve this matter.

What i'm trying to highlight here is, DO NOT ENTRUST YOUR BIKE WITH SOMEONE WHO IS INEXPERIENCE AND DISHONEST. But anyway, the matter wasn't settled UNTIL NOW.

And i suggest some of you here might wanna take a 5 mins break reading this cos there is still a part 2.

Like some of you know, i've been participating in some race events in the Tuas circuit and i'm sure it's quite clear that many know that my bike setup is done by this particular shop owner with my new Runner ST 200.

I met an accident in Tuas circuit on 29th March. Experienced a highside, broken my right arm and hosipitalized for a week with more than 3 months of MC. And one f-king fine day after 3 weeks, i visited the shop just to check on my bike and wanted to come on a compromise to deal for my repair cost, i found out that my stock carburettor was meddled with and looked like a 2nd hand, that didn't really matter cos i already intended to change it anyway.

Now, the day when i was released from hospital, i was fortunate in a sense that my friend was willing to share the cost of his new VESPA LX150 with me as i'm starting work in a few days time.

SO THE JUNIOR MECH APPROACHED ME AND ASKED IF I COULD BORROW HIM MY TRANSMISSION PARTS TO SOMEONE ELSE TO USE. Because he feels that my Runner is still under repair and the parts were under utilised. And to be real frank, in terms of generosity to this kind of small little stuff, i'm okay with it...and i never ever had a 2nd thought of the wear and tear that another party would cost to my parts. But i only agreed to borrowed my things under one condition, and the only condition is FOR RACE USE ONLY.

He appeared to be really promising when he wanted to borrow the parts from me to lend it to his friend, and i said ok. I expected the duration to be one week since it will only be for race use. Never did i know that this moron was so irresponsible to let him hold my parts for weeks and for daily road use and even i had to f-king call everyday to make arrangements for my parts to be delivered. And it was his responsibility because he initiated and he was appointed to uninstall my transmission parts to another bike.

And FINALLY, last week. I managed to get back ALLLLLL my malossi transmission parts in place and towed my bike to Sunrise Euro (FIRST TIME OVERHAUL) instead after leaving there for almost 2 months for repair. Everything LOOKED like they were in place until i found out that the clutch bell i got back wasn't the brand that i bought. HE ACTUALLY REPLACED A F-CKEN POLINI CLUTCH BELL WITH A STOCK CLUTCH BELL and thought i was so stupid to not able to differentiate them. Jesus....

Then we came to a conclusion today and i asked Mr.Smartass Junior Mech on how to resolve this problem. And he told me that he didn't steal or take any of my things from my bike and was willing to pay for my missing polini bell. He said that, "WHATEVER WAS THERE IN YOUR BIKE IS THERE". I mean, c'mon...give me a god-ddamn break my friend, if you did not do anything wrong and you were quite firm with your answers. Why would you still offer to pay for my bell? And will you even not KNOW what are the things that you invested in your bike? Tell me who would be so dumb?

Now, the point is not about this clutch bell anymore, and you better lock this in your head cos i feel that your nothing better than a low life kid. Your old enough and you better straighten up ur fu-king self since your already in your 30's and your never gonna go far with this kind of screwed up mentality the whole time. And even after so many years of working, i'm sure most of your friends must be disappointed cos your still nothing but a Junior Mech.

You can take, swap, borrow or even steal, but don't get caught and ended up being mentioned in a forum filled with THOUSANDS of viewers and potential customers. anyway, here's a big middle finger to you ..!..

I have trusted you too much and to my suprise, you are such a great actor, maybe you can start auditioning in the entertainment industry.

and no point u call ppl junior mech or senior mech.we are all learning bit by bit abt the bike so are u dat great with the bike to label a mech as junior or senior?

com'on la mark.if u really feel dat uv been wronged, go back to the shop, talk to the boss, and settle the whole issue with him.wats d point of posting it on forum? not everyone gets treated the same way as u are.always remember dis dude, the boss once helped u with alot of things and do u think its fair with watever comments ur posting on this forum? WHEN YOU ARE HIGH UP THERE, DON'T FORGET THE PEOPLE WHO WORKED HARD TO HELP YOU GET THERE.LIFE IS NOT ALL ABOUT MONEY. DON'T U THINK U'VE BACK STABBING THE SHOP OWNER BY DOING THIS? P.S i am not siding anybody.so my advice to u is, go back to the shop and settle the things with the owner first.no use defaming someone on the forum.unless he chooses not to settle it with u then its a different story.and btw the shop owner said it clearly to me to ask u to go to the shop to settle things with him.not go around spread bad words of others.period.

Darn long verses there mate. I have send my bike there and entrusted them with it. I never had any problems with any one of them back there then. Mark, you are an adult, well behave like one then. I want to ask gilera seniors here, whenever my bike is stationery, got this weird sound like bell and the bell's rythm is quite fast. Does anyone knw what is happening to my bike? The other problem is, sometimes but not usually, whenever i move out got this weird thing from the rear like dragging sound. (hope everone understand what am i trying to explain here hehehhe) Great if any seniors here can help me?

But those who were around and helped when u werent doin so good, are rare. Appreciate them. I'm not siding anyone coz I dont know the real facts myself. Which I think you dont too. Like they said, keep this between you and that mech and workshop. They could do the same to you if they wanted. Think wisely before saying or doing anything.

try send to shop and get ur clutch checked.might be ur clutch and might even be ur roller/u-clip.not too sure myself until i actly hear the sound? so far wat ive experienced is dat wen ur u-clip is worn out u'll hear like a steady 'klok klok' sound at ur transmission area.the shop mechanic can ans u best bro.

ohhhh klok klok but mine klik klik klik like dat...heheh. Ok la wait for my next service i go to botak and ask him to check then. Btw thanx.

i actually had the similar sound coming from my bike's rear. after frantically looking for any loose parts, i found out it was the split pin for the rear wheel tat made the noise.. note tat it only occur when bike's on main stand. i just tightened it with a plier.

the dragging sound tat u encounter could be ur clutch slipping. mine was like tat esp when using original clutch springs(black). i change to malossi white springs so far no prob.. now the clutch was still being used by sum1 with the same white springs, still no complain... it could be oso from worn out clutch plate or clutch bell. it can oso be time for ur servicing.. heheheh! too dirty inside already ar! basically tats wat i can safely say from my experience... still learning tho.

i actually had the similar sound coming from my bike's rear. after frantically looking for any loose parts, i found out it was the split pin for the rear wheel tat made the noise.. note tat it only occur when bike's on main stand. i just tightened it with a plier.
the dragging sound tat u encounter could be ur clutch slipping. mine was like tat esp when using original clutch springs(black). i change to malossi white springs so far no prob.. now the clutch was still being used by sum1 with the same white springs, still no complain... it could be oso from worn out clutch plate or clutch bell. it can oso be time for ur servicing.. heheheh! too dirty inside already ar! basically tats wat i can safely say from my experience... still learning tho.

say until like tat.. hahaha! i oso newbie ar. jus tat i encounter before so can share problem mah. ppl in these forum teach oso so juz pass down ar. keep oso no use.. cannot buy me a lambo or merc or ktm.

if i noe i say.. if dunnoe i keep quiet, if i not 100% sure, i juz put 'imo'. since we have diff preference and expectation, wat i say good, doesn't mean die die u have to say good oso, right? hehehe! anyway enjoy the ride and ride safe!
