ST200 Runner owner - 2009 / 2010

Went for inspection today was rejected by the inspector. He stated that my VAAC Number does not display gilera st 200. It only stated gilera vxr 200 on his database. I was quite surprised. Went back to GMAX agent and told the staff there that the vaac number does not have gilera st 200 in the LTA database. The staff was shocked also and gave me a new vaac number. Was about to go back to the inspection center but i see the time nearly 3 pm. As we know saturday inspection center closed at 3 pm. Will be back again on next monday for inspection and hope this new vaac number will list gilera st 200. sigh~~~~~~~~~

 

Today i learnt that documents to produce at the inspection center are :

1) Invoice

2) Letter from GMAX titled RE: request LTA inspection for homologated exhuast mufflers

3) Log Card

4) Identity card

5) Letter of authorisation from owner if ur a sub rider

6) Inspection fees

 

Btw this is for newly exhaust system not transferring of ownership.

As for transferring of ownership i do not know the procedures.

 

Btw is high mounted leo vince 4 road able to pass for inspection on my gilera st 200?

haha. . .tats great. . . went to look at my bike yesterday n realise there`s lots of them man. . . n its almost impossible to count n dismantle. . .so i`m going back to e old method(use WD-40).but but but. . in any case any nice bro who manage to dismantle he whole bike. . plz plz plz share how many screws r there. . .

last sun while riding i felt hot liquid spilling out of the air ventilator and while on a halt, water keep dripping.. i was curious whats happening.. check the temperature of the bike, its to the max.. so i decide to just keep it overnight.. next day i try my luck again but its still hot.. Drop by at tai Hin, get it check.. the pipe burst, get it repair and try filling up the coolant but it still drip..did a thorough check and lots of thing melt..so get everitin repair and change. It cost me $220.. Do not know how this thing happen.. Anyone ever encounter this too? can share?

warranty is 1 year or 10k km, whiccever is first..correct me if im wrong..BUT, i tink it also depends on wat mods u've done..cos if im nt wrong warranty r considered void for certain mods..correct me if im wrong too:)

Yeah it stated in the warranty booklet. Btw i would like to know how many of u guys went for inspection passed with sticker number plate? If passed, which inspection center did u guys go?

To pass it all depends on the inspector, some of them very the detail, some anything also can.... usually i go to changi viacom..... the inspectors there all gd except for only 1..... last time i went there he told me so many things needed to change before he can pass my bike.... then went down the next day with the same bike no change, but got the usual inspector.... he said everything okay.
