hey guys,can we install the iu unit infront in the front pnel?i still havent buy the iu unit.where to get it done.

 

yup u can bt u mite also wana have a bracket for it cos it tends to move about. sometyms cannot detect then lta will need to call u for iu inspection.

I'm letting go my gilera stock windshield and mirrors. the wind shield and mirrors were in mint condition as they were used for only about 3months and been collecting dusts at home.

would be letting go windshiel at $100 and also the 2mirrors at $100 too.

Need help my bike while on the move at around 40 to 60 got this funny sound coming from the front wheel like something rubbing against something. I checked my wheel by spinning it around but no sound heard and it move freely without any resistance. But not all the time the sound will be heard while the bike on the move but it occurs sometimes only.

 

Care to share how to tackle this irritating sound of mine?

hi guys. Jus signed a deal with Southern motor for a 2nd hand ST200. Will be collecting it this Saturday morning. Anyway, super new to the scootering world. And I heard so much negative feedbacks abt ST200 but then again, still I see so many riders riding it on the road. Thats why I ignored the negative feedbacks and join the ride. I need a few help from the pioneer riders here. I need to know how often you guys change your belting or any other necessary parts that I need to take note of? And roughly how much will the belting or roller cost? And where's the best place to get it change and servicing done? Thanks a lot in advance. I know all the answers that I need maybe in this forum prevou pages but Im afraid it might not be updated. Thanks again.

Hello Guys...Im currently riding rs125 for almost 2yrs now and i decided that i just want to change to the st200...Its really been burning a hole im my pocket maintanence, mods and repair wise...just want to switch back to 4 stroke...had my share of fun and pain with a 2 stoke and i had enough...also want to lepak already...going automatic...lol...so people add me up at [email protected](MSN) so we can chat more as i have little knowledge about gilera...for example, where to go to service mods and etc...going to change next thurs liao...maybe getting it in black...cant wait...lol...

Im soon gona b a new ST200 owner within this month or so,kind of noob when comes to scooters.Have some questions to ask hope any helpful chaps in here can give me some advice.

 

1.Saw few pages back about variators, do they come in a set with e belt just lik spocket and chain?

 

2.Read few pages back too, Runner ST200 has 2 air filters??

 

3.whats e mileage for the eo change?

 

4.what tires good for ST200 with good road feedback? any brand for ST200 has got feedbacks feel to rider like the Pilot Power 2CT or Pirelli Corsa 3?

 

5.Any important areas for the ST200 that needs more attention and care?

 

6.Where do you guys place the IU?(with pics if possible, thanks)

If you are talking abt aftermarket variator, they dun come in a set. Malossi: variator + rollers(14 & 15grms) and torque spring.

pollini: variator + rollers(size unsure)

check ur manual if u buy ur scoot 1st hand. for me roughly ard every 2k to 3k. now i juzt stick to monthly.

wah, tat kind of tyres not here yet, better luck if u ride a 05. now only michelin pilot sport and gold standard worth mentioning

rear suspension, try to change. and stock tyres.

belting can last 12k i think, maybe 15k. see how u ride. belt ard 100+ rollers 35.

best place dun haf.. u have to try urself. best bet, kallang ave got numerous scoot shop, try 1 by 1 and see who suit u best. my sweets might be ur poison...... enjoy!

more to weight diff. 14 grams and 15 grams. lighter for more pick up and higher revs. start with 14 then u decide.

subjective. some prefer hard run in, some prefer conventional. check a few page back, i think sum1 post on run in.

there is total and current milleage, being current can reset. check ur manual for the exact detail to play with those buttons.

stock rollers i forgot already the weight, but its good if u are using it for ur conventional runs in.

if u are light weight guy, no problem if u use it for everyday use. if u are heavy weight champion like me, its best to change. bitubo is really good. can service summore. hehehe! anyway ride it out stock 1st, see how u like it. its still a scoot afterall.

tis 1 i forgot ar.. hahaha. i noe i pump usually 32 to 34 or 220 to 235 at th e pump station..dunnoe wats the measurement called. hehehe.
