Bro Bongstar, yah i know but need better feel for front brakes as it is really to soft as currently if i wan to stop effectively need to press on both as already develop a habit of only pressing front brakes even just to slow down. Seldom i use rears on other bikes unless really super e-brake as normal e-brakes also front as other bikes front is double disc and rear on single disc. Speakin of this when i was readin the tech specs of e runner, our front is single or double?

 

Nah bro is good for u to give me opinions so at least i know as im totally new to the scoot world but dun worry keke i tink see when my itchy backside feel come back again den i will go change brake hose and go PG haha but i guess front brake house and brake pads is a must.

 

 

Same as me when I first started riding, the brakes juz aint gd enuff for me, so used to 2-finger front braking :lol:

 

Left my bike at the bike shop to changed my front and rear brake hose, regretted changing the rear tho, didn't know it was steel-braided till i came back to fetch my bike. The rear now lack the stopping power it had earlier.

 

I tried ebc brakes before and another brand which i forgot, niwae there was very little difference compared to the stock brake pads, but ebc gave me a slightly better feel and it did not fade like the stock, but its lifespan was juz too short, I've check with sporting motors and they dont have Double-H pads for it..... so currently I'm on Malossi pads, its okay, gd stopping power but still lack the feel, lifespan unknown as currently juz 2 weeks old.

 

My mech advice me to change the discs for extra stopping power but for stability to match the grip, might need to upgrade the front forks... more $$$ coming out liao :sian:

Hayden bro, OO aftermarket brake pads no diff form stock feel?? wah so bad?? Im hoping Braking has double H for runner lik my CM55 as it is good for road and track use. Let me know if the malossi ones are good after some time as most probaly might change also but are the malossi ones double H as well?

u mean the pad right? sintered brake disc i not sure lah, actually never heard of it oso. but then again the braking disc looks awesome!

Bongstar bro... i meant our stock brake disc are they sintered? so i can choose the right brake pads for it as using sintered brake pads on non sintered will wear off the brake disc so much faster and will not achieve better braking effect too.

thanks bro, learned something new today. btw, if u wanna track, from what i notice when the pros track in tuas, the mainstand is off. it tend to scrap the tarmac much too often. the rest i think u shd be familiar with already, like tyres, rear sus, brakes. of course there's other parts need to be touch for 'better experience' , like the transmission, engine block,etc. take your time bro, most important u enjoy ur ride.
