Hayden bro, im also gona change to those ^_^ hey ask you have you brought your runner to track?? need some advice on runner preparation.

 

 

thanks bro, learned something new today. btw, if u wanna track, from what i notice when the pros track in tuas, the mainstand is off. it tend to scrap the tarmac much too often. the rest i think u shd be familiar with already, like tyres, rear sus, brakes. of course there's other parts need to be touch for 'better experience' , like the transmission, engine block,etc. take your time bro, most important u enjoy ur ride.

 

tru main stand have to come off, unless u like to see sparks all over the tarmac.

Brought my runner fully stock once to the track before juz to feel its capabalities, n from how i feel, its a long long long way from ok. A lot need to be done so take your time bro, no hurry n gd luck.

3. I was tinkin of minimum settings just to experience track with my runner but from the input of u guys, seems need to touch up lots of stuff on my transport bike -__- just for tracking.

 

4.Probaly i wil do up on the brakes and tires and bring it stock down like what bro Hayden did to have a feel.

 

 

Last but not least you guys wana meet up for a chat and get to know each other as fellow runer riders??Its been a pleasure to getting information from you guys.

You have to fully consider your bike for transport or for track purpose, cos for track u definitely want the competitive edge so once you do the upgrades, your FC would be very high, so your bike wont be able to use as a transport bike anymore.......

taking out is a breeze, juz need to loosen a nut and knocking out the shaft. putting back in is the pain in the ass, esp the sucker springs. can go crazy man.

go to malossi or polini website for each make. sip scooter, pm tuning or scooter attack is some good site to haf a rough idea of scooter tuning world. tho scooter attack more to 50cc and 2 strokes.

i would really recommend an aftermarket variator(polini or malossi) after u are done with the handling part.

its called the bullet filter. it acts as a aftermarket filter. have not try it before so i can't really say whether its good or not.

aftermarket variator gives u better pick up.

install the bullet filter = airbox stripped off...

the stock tuning no more... tend to have a lil bit more response while fuel consumption might be much higher as the amount of airflow in + fuel is less restricted.

 

with the airbox + aftermarket air filter, u juz get a lil more air flow ( but lesser than the one with the airbox stripped)... throttle response is also a lil better ( but not as good as stripping away the airbox)...

but fuel consumption only drops a bit...

Actually i would suggest you go for the 3rd shop as it is only 3 years for $183 as compared to the 1st 2 shops so overall the price is cheaper,ask anyone to do the math and you can see what i mean. If you talk about freebies(IU unit most of them should be in the price itself too bro) also lots of shops already include a buffer price which is why some of the shops can readily agree to certain or offer you some freebies when you ask for the pricing. i guess when you show sincerity to buy, obviously can discuss about freebies such as bike cover etc. I had the same issue too previously but when i seriously settle for the purchase for the bike and i ask for freebies, my request was also

agreeded. After you do the math above which i mentioned, if you take the savings you made with the 3rd shop, you can buy all those freebies which the other 2 shops is giving to you and still got moolas left ^^

its up to individual but i would always go for a shorter loan period, .... freebies too me aint worth much, helmet less than $50, bike cover less than $30, free iu unit less than $170 (cos some places charge install) n some other etc, which leads to less than $500 or even far lesser..... unless the bike shop give u free arai helmet + free bike upgrades (after market exhaust pipe or variator or etc) + free insurance, then that is worth it.

Yo Bro, care to intro which are shops offering these prices as it is really cheap with your downpayment and monthly installment as i have also just got my ST200 not very long ago but i need to downpay lot more than you and im on 30 years of age this year.
