Last Thursday 11 Feb, before went down to shop, I called n was told OTR $7800. Went down to shop is another gimmick. Told me OTR $7850 + $200 agreement fee. Want to choose red color ST200 but no stock. I was told have to wait till end of Feb if want to take red color. The guy asked me whether want to take black or white since they have stock n can collect bike the next day (12 Feb) with all freebies. So I agreed to take white n proceed to make downpayment despite price is higher than other shop. After made payment, the guy told me maybe Friday (12 Feb) unable to collect bike. I was like WTF earlier he assured me can collect bike the next day. Afterwhich he said will try his best to rush for me so I also don't want talk much n left. Friday morning I called him, he said still rushing n told me to call him in the afternoon. Around 4pm I called his hp but off already, shop also nobody answer. I strongly suggest DON'T GO THERE.

 

I have called the shop (Alber^ ^^^^^^)every day since the 3rd day after CNY. Few days back already opens but nobody has the initiative to call me. Today I called n talked to the guy Roy^^^^who served me. When I asked him about his empty promises then he "buay song" n used vulgar languages saying the shop doesn't belong to his father...blah blah blah..all excuses. Challenged me to meet him in town. He thinks he is the ONLY gangster in SG? Haha such a childish person! I have told him n called the finance department to cancel my order. After which Andre^ called me up to ask me what happens to make me cancel the order so I told him what exactly happened lor. Forfeit my deposit is better than collect the bike after such incident (cheating n playing gangster). Money can earn back...buay song is the word to describe.

not so sure wat it is called, but its something like a tube that goes around the end-can, it helps to minimise the damage to ur pipe when u crash.

 

U might notice it one some of the bikes, some people got this one colour-band on their pipes.

 

btw just change my tyres n rear shock, now my bike feels better, but im still not satisfied with the front shock, anyone noes where can i upgrade the fork springs???

cos the malossi front fork sets are expensive

 

Orh i noe wat is it liaos lahs, got e same thing for my R6 too,purchase from ebay. ic ic. so bike now is much better after the rear sets?

yup its better at the rear, cornering also very stable but now bike feels a bit unsettle on the front, its jumping everywhere, been surfing the web trying to find something to solve this problem.

 

So have u changed ur brake disc? wanna know how effective the upgrade is??

1st was speedometer cable faulty..

Now its the tempreture gauge faulty...

Anyways, its still under warranty from agent so its not a big deal..

 

Does any of you guys have the same fate as me??

is there any recommended good serving shop in the east/west servicing ST200.. kindly share it so that all our newbie ST200 bros knows where to go for service and upgrade without been chop or...

reputable scoot shop are all ard central area. i rather have sum1 with proven record than any other shop to handle my ride. IMHO lah.

already tried a friend's bike, slightly better but still insufficient......

found from the web that bitubo makes aftermarket fork springs for our bikes, but the price a bit ex bout $400,.... anyone knows whose the bitubo agent in s'pore?

someone here assured me tat all e faults can be rectified tats y there are so many st200 otr. anyway, even if its under warranty, u must not overlook the costs of going back to agent to correct the faults.

 

petrol - mayb affordable for most

time - u cannot buy time

 

ultimately, i think agent has got lotsa of QC issues. similar probs or complains come from vespa and piaggio owners too.

Yeah, time is the factor when coming down to piaggio.

Hmm probaly pretaining to the Gilera special repairs which the normal mechs are unskilled in repairing but i guess general repairs or replacement of parts,most shops shld be competent enuff.

I dun think its much abt special repair tat matters, i'm more concern abt ready parts availability. Most bike shop handles common bikes, i dun think they keep stock of scooter parts.

List of shop: sunrise, taihin, future, scootwerkz, Kallang ave area.

Outside kallang: mechspeed, ahm, botak.

Malossi distributor: winjing

these are the best to myknowledge.

Abt lv exhaust i guess the price won't go off far from tat.
