May I ask issit legal to install gear indicator if the bike doesn't have one?

 

yes. it is not explicitly stated legal, but it does not change the bike's power/performance nor does it extend the bike's dimensions. hence it does not break any current rule.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!
