I have been with this bike shop ever since class 2B, ridding pulsar. They offer good price & even better for some bikes.

Besides their pricing, the other best thing i like about Universal is that their administrative flow & customer services are excellent. e.g. they breakdown the facts & figures of what u are paying for, the customer sign & sales person sign, duplicate it , each side will get a copy.

They are mainly dealing with small to mid range classes of bike.

christopher(dealing with bajaj pulsar bikes) & david(other bikes) - the sales persons there are always willing to help u ( thanks david for settling my insurance matters asap... :thumb: ), even though u just surveying around.

the mech there also give suggestions and adivces regarding my bike and other bikes.

Yes i do agree. My first bike and s4 was from them also. David is a person whom will tell show you the calcualtion and all the fee incurred. Upon agreement, there would not be any changes to the agreed price. Unlike some others, there would change the price or add in other stuff after confirmation of the price shown to ya like g.s.t or administration fees or the price shown eariler have not include the interest...

4 years ago bought my 01'R1 at their Alexandra branch. Michael was the salesman if i remember correctly. Price was very transparent, the price he quoted was the price i paid. They even have % rebates if you early settlement your loan. Never tried their servicing though but for purchasing of bikes, they are not bad.

Past Rides

Honda NSR125R, Kawasaki ZX400-L9, Yamaha YZF-R1 2001, Yamaha YZF-R1 2006, Suzuki GSX-R1000 K2

Current Rides

Mitsubishi Lancer

1 branch next to Pang Scooter and the other 2 next to HKL.

Hopefully all other motorshop adopt Universal Motors style of doing business. Transparent, No hidden cost and give value to the bikers.

Today went to Universal Motor to collect my insurance, hot weather, entered the room sweating, Chris offered me a bottle of cold mineral water.

I think I'm pretty darn lucky to be living 5mins away from this shop :D:D

I actually walked by the row of motorshops a couple of days ago just to see and feel what it would be like the day I actually make my purchase (and also to see what bikes were available) and to be honest, I was quite intimidated and unsure about what to do. Should I have just walked in and enquired? Or should I have just walked on and browsed in silence (I was alone at the time)

I don't remember seeing the bike Im planning to get at Universal though. It's a 1980s Honda CM125 and I'm looking for a second-hander.

Any idea if UM can bring in this model for me as opposed to having to go to places like Heng Motor to source for other 2nd hand bikes?

Sportbiker at heart!
