Hi guys I just got myself a new 125Z. Some questions on mods and parts.

 

I'm thinking of getting higher pegs, sports rims/tubeless tires and better brakes. What type, how much and where can I get these? I was quoted 180 for a set of racing boy sports rims.

 

Also, what tires are good for cornering? Not looking for "sotong" tires...

On a stock bike, should be 140km/h (on meter) & 25km/L. Not too sure about 2T...

But the meter on Y125z is abt 20km lesser as compared to bigger cc bike.

my comment is they migh tbe using non original blocks to do porting.

hello guys...after reading this forum for 2 days i've decided to join. everything looks so interesting. anyway i own a 125z fy plate. just bought it 6 months ago but i havent do a single mod to it. only changed the footrest, sidemirrors, chain guard, seat cover and was thinking of changing my rims to sportrims by end of this month. i have gone through vector one's website and was quite interested with the z-1 package. is it good? will it change my bikes performance? hmmm...it sucks if u don't have a friend who owned a 125z.

it is very good if u wan to use Z1 or R1 kit , u can feel alot of difference and its worth the $$ also

Hi guys,

 

I've got a stock 125z here 15k mileage and it's about time to do the following maintenance liao:

- Rear tire change (botak liao)

- Wash Carb

- Clean Airbox Filter

- Gearbox oil change (any recommendations?)

- Brake Pad change (any recommendations?)

 

 

On top of that, can I do these as well?

- Cut off Airbox Snorkel Head?

- Change better reed valve? (any recommendations?)

 

 

Spark Plug can last how long ah?
