i bought my bike from asp changi.. althought its ex.. but after sales service still considered quite good.. went to another bikeshop to spot what's wrong then i went back to asp and ask them to get it fixed.. they 1st told me no spares.. wait days later call again.. i told them few days later my warranty with them would be over.. he told me no problem.. his promise to me is to do it means he will do it.. true enough.. few days later went back he replaced the faulty spare parts..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

Your statement/s have no bearing towards this thread. Didnt even bother to explain it. But nice script.

I bought 2 of my bikes NSR125 and 06'R1 from Bukit Merah Asphoon (before they move to Toh Guan). Dealed with Louis, his service is good, explained everything to me in details, bike is very clean when i went to collect. But he left Asphoon not long after they shifted to Toh Guan. Think you will get better service at their Toh Guan or Changi branches. But i agreed that the person you dealed with at Serangoon is abit f**k up. Don't angry over such things, enjoy your new Revo! :thumb:

ya where did louis go to?

he's excellent salesman.

Sharing my BAD experiences with u guys...JUST In 2 days with (ASP) staffs,

bought a NEW S4 REVO from ASP (serangoon).

FIRST DAY

1.colllection day,the bike is under the rain, when i asked the sales man,he said "y u come late.." Is it an excuse?

2.nva wipe the bike, just start the engine, check signals, nva explain much abt the bike.even the manual and tool set missing,i hve to highlight to him.

3.i asked him "y the tank is abit sandy n rough,(he said "just rain,so its like tat". (another excuse)

4.way back home the LEFT SIDE mirror abit loose..i try to adjust it,no use.

SECOND DAY

1.i went to the shp,actually,i knew abt new S4 servicing.but i still asked him,y nva explain abt the 1k,3k n 5k service,he responded "i dnt know,ask my technician".

2.when i asked him to wash the bike,he give 1001 excuses (wash, polish urself or get it done from groomin ctr) "did i bougth the bike from ASP OR from GROOMING CTR"? i Insist him to wash.aft washing it still the same,TANG rough n nva wipe properly.

3.get the mirror replacement."can u come next week,my boss will screw me la,this la tat la".

i told him "so u want me to ride with a defective mirror, its not even 1 full day of purchase of the bike n u r givin me this kinda service?"

aft hearin this. he fixed the mirror with hatered (can tell from his face).

i'm totally disappointed,do you RECOMMEND (ASP) TO OTHERS with this kinda of services???

Although we do not purchase bikes from ASPhoon, we supply RACEshield to ASPhoon to all 4 branches. From our 2~6hrs of RACEshield installation work (we often direct the customers to ASP staffs coz we are always mistaken for one of theirs staffs :p ), we did notice that their respective branch managers/salesmen attending to new walk-ins, collection or servicings, in a very customer oriented manner. Detailed explaination & attentive to each question the customer poise.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The particular sales personnel might be new or on OJT. Encountering certain issues & unsatisfaction may or may not be inevitable. Some staffs might come from a change of trade or inexperienced. I believe if you look for another personnel to revert your issues, a different response will be received.Look at the telco industry, perfect example. Just voice out your issue nicely at another counter, issue resolved. Turn-over rate is high everywhere, this leaves the bike industry not spared.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My previous employer always "brain-wash" (that is what my previous manager in the engineering industry does monthly...:p ) me when I did something wrong or not satisfactory when I am new by the weeks/mths. This is how staff management/customer service experience improves & benchmarked, & likewise the company, providing an overall improvement. Notice the telco sector always have a "feedback" form to fill up, especially at the servicing centers. :shades:

Thank You.

Seems like a lot of people has experienced good service at Looi's. No wonder their prices are slightly higher than the other shops. Anyway Looi's deserves better profit margin for their effort to treat customers better. :thumb:

I must go there and try out their services.

We are just voicing out what we overhear or experience when doing installation over there as a "silent 3rd party". Also telling them your un-satisfaction areas greatly helps.

I myself experienced issues in other places when my previous 2 new bikes in various shops. Yet after voicing out, 2nd time customer experience. :p

Another thing to take note in a more generic/fair manner, there are good & bad buyers, so are good & bad sellers. 1 data indeed portrays an issue, but is not enough to pin-point the overall problem. That why 6 sigma takes place in large companies to rectify problems (technical & non-technical), & improve the situation.

Thank You.

I agree! When I first bought my bike from ASP at Serangoon. MY IU unit was not installed properly. I have to remove my IU Unit and install it again myself.

After service my bike, they don't even bother to wipe clean for me unlike Tong aik, they wipe clean my bike for me.

The paintwork that i did over at ASP is crap, some area they say they "FORGOT" to touchup for me. Then i demand a discounted price whereas i should just ask him to go paint it for me again.

There is only one technician whom I like over there. Other than that. . .nothing much can be complimented there.

bro did i see tong aik? -.- not chong aik ar? tong aik i thought is those u always see carrying bodies de? :giddy:

toh guan one even worst. they discriminate 2B bike!!!!! !@#$%^&*

:gun: :gun: :gun: :gun: :gun:

that time went there then they have a very sian sian look on their face when ask whether they can help me change brake pad or not. then they nvr greet, nvr smile just give a sian sian look and ask "what bike?" then when know that is a sp, they immed brush me off and say "sorry no staff available at the moment". wtf. 2b bike not bike ar. shitty service.

then went to another asp branch some other time to get my head light fix. the staff there very friendly BUT give me shitty workmanship. omg. ya now my head light in very good working condition and even better then last time. BUT my IU, signal all not working. they nvr help me put back the wiring nicely and just give it to me without checking thoroughly for me. on the spot check then notice iu not working and signal light not working already then told them and they help me put back the wiring. Tis show they nvr check before giving the bike back to me. I got pay them service charge one lei. i dun tink i deserve tis kind of service lor. Then obviously they nvr put the wiring back properly cos only a few weeks have pass and now my iu and signal light wire come loose again. wtf.

i will nvr ever go back to asp regardless of any branch anymore. so much for having so many ppl tell me they have very good service.

Couldn't agree with you more on servicing your bike at Asphoon. 2 years back when i was riding my 06'R1 bought from Alexandra branch, i went back to have a oil change. The mech there had a bad attitute, he even over tighten my oil filler plug. My filler plug was a Puig one purchased at 50 bucks and uses a allen key to tighten. I had a hard time loosening the plug during my next oil change and my allen key hole was rounded. Had to replace the plug, wasted my 50 bucks. And btw the mech is now at the Toh Guan branch.

IMHO, buying bikes still can go Asphoon, but as for servicing, its a no-no for me.

Totally agree!

Their customer service really bad!

Been to the branch at Toh Guan once before getting my DRZ.

Maybe due to my age and build, nobody bothers to entertain me.

Walk ard in the shop at least for 10-15mins and still no one come and ask.

Really disappointed with the customer service.

I not sure about the price of their bikes and their aftersales service though.

hmm.. i think if the service no gd.. we shouldnt even go there buy bcos we wouldnt get the after-sales-service we should b getting.. and bear in mind getting a bike in a shop means u will hav to go back there every mth to settle the instalment (unless u buy in cash) and face the guys over there.
