hey about the disc brake.what does it do for the bike eh?...dropping by bugis in awhile thought of getting one..if its for a good purpose...

I think the girls are referring to disc lock... It has pros and cons, if you remember to unlock it then it's fine.. for me yg pelupa, because disc lock are not very prominent at just one glance, and if you never unlock your disc lock, you might just fall before even moving an inch..

 

Afraid of bike lost? Park at a lot where you can view from your kitchen window, and cover your bike, it helps as noone know for sure what bike it is under the cover, and lock them using whatever you want, by the time they open and if they struggle it'll raise suspicion.. of course an alarm would be a good investment, but still.. it all depends on the rider's financial state and their preference.. Plus.. their luck..

better secure den sorry..lagi rela spend a few bucks on these things & risk forgetting to open em & causing certain damages then hilang the whole bike..

can never guarentee..unless kalau kita ada a few halangan to it, like cover, disc brake lock, alarm, etc..

lock with lock also any one can have the master key to the lock. kalau kunci honda besar boleh bukak ignition honda kecik, ape lagi kunci lain. kalau ignition motor boleh ada master key, ape lagi bende lain.

n tell me guys..kalau lock, either handle lock or whatever lock is out there, orang ader master key boleh bukak, kalau chain up, orang boleh potong chain, and kalau alarm tapi kita jauh sgt, den ape yang boleh guarentee the security of our bikes? every security features there will be pple who can come up with the security breach..so tell me..how can we make it so that it is a chop signed guarentee its solidly safe n secure? how? simple..there is no way to it, cuz we've done our best, n takdir yang menentu kan..

Alarm, if it start making noise, and the buglar can't stop the noise, ppl around him will give him a raised eyebrow, and hopefully someone is great enough to notify the police..

 

Chain and all, it's not about having the master key.. Anyone can have just a string of wire, and one or two twist is all it takes, if he's trained to unlock locks.

 

It's all individual preference, noone can force someone into something he/she's not comfortable off.. Everyone meant well, but too much of a good thing can be bad too..

 

This is what Singapore is, taking safety and security for granted. And when sh!t happens, everyone start to doubt ppl admiring bike beauty as potential bike buglar.. And everyone start to be wary about everyone and everything..
