coz i suspect the other time we full ball all the way hor.. the connector to charge might be burnt.. coz last few days i have been a bit uneasy on my bike, n turns out the connector burnt...

but coil might be alil faulty alrdy..

i'm interested in getting a RVF... like to ask if compared to super4 spec3. which one is worth it... so sorry. juz wan some advice from RVF riders...

 

ehh.. all depending u like sports or street/touring..

=)

maintenance is all about urself taking care ba..

though rvf is an old bike..

but some well maintained one are worth to buy..

some the engines might need to overhaul or pay more to repair..

compared to spec 3, coz newer bike.. lesser probs.. =)

 

but the sound of v4 engine is nice.. =)

i nv change harness b4, Ju changed b4 at racewerkz. 200+ for the harness without labour charge. All the connectors to ur rectifier, magnetic coil, relay... etc will branch out from the harness. Dun think got sell connector individually.

Went to planet on monday and discovered connector and rectifier melt and not working. Luckily ah chong got a spare 2nd hand rvf rectifier with connector on it. So got it changed for $60+.

 

Now my bike feels good. No longer overheating and voltage looks healthy.

but rebuilding my rear suspension will be the first in mind

is good to do re-wire.. but maybe during re-wire, they might tell u coil need to change, rectifier need to change.. blah blah need to change.. then add up also duno how much..

 

if those footrest at JB AhBoy are the "Make for RVF" and not "Mod for RVF" type, then i think i will get them too..

u put racing footrest, u cant put back the right hand right metal heat shield..

den ur brake light switch also need to mod liaoz..

mine is the adjustable one..

 

need to mod quite alot.. even though its for rvf.. =/

as i say.. if u fit a racing footrest.. u need to sacrifice a few things...

he will ride ur bike around that area to feel, take out your carb to clean, synchronize it, test its carbon emmision, ride it, tune it, ride it, tune it..

not only spoil, if he thinks ur air or fuel not enough then u might also change, faulty also change..
