And thus far, the few riders who does that when interview, claims that it does help to stabilise the bike under hard braking going into the corner..

 

Most of the time when they stick out 1 leg, you can see they are doing very hard braking before the corner..

Kawasaki withdrawn their factory participation from MotoGP 2009 due to the recession, probably cutting down cost..

 

The only Kawa bike in MotoGP this year is Hayate full black ridden by Marco Melandri. Almost kena pull out but manage to strike a deal with Kawasaki on the MotoGP factory part support.
