hi there.. i wanna get a RVF but its hard to find. today just shopping at ubi. But cant found one i like. So any suggestion place from east or north side selling RVF.. original paint work is the best. :smile:

I recommend get from private seller.. Much better..

 

Eugene kipps from this thread is selling his RVF.. original paintwork, nvr been resprayed.. very caring owner.. Bike in tiptop condition..

Why don't u file an official police report in the police station to claim from your bike insurance? Please don't claim from life insurance. Are u having a second party or third party insurance cover?

TPFT does not cover lost of parts. Only lost of whole bike.

hey all bros.. i juz got myself a rvf and so im kinda new to the machine.. 2 days ago the button start suddenly got prob.. when press the button, the sound like damn weak then cannot start.. its still ok with push start.. and the lights show no sign of being weak or wadsoever.. so i need help.. hope the bros n sisz out there can help me :cry:

to the dude who lost his fairings,

 

I checked out the prices of brand new fairings at K&T.

 

These are for ONE SIDE only..

 

Bottom Left Fairings - $260

 

Centre Left Fairings - $150

 

Tail Left Fairings - $245

 

Tank - $700plus.

 

I forgot to ask abt Head fairings, but fierymonkey claims it is $650. i will try to check and let you know..

 

I checked at one of the scrapeyards i frequent, they have no RVF fairings now..

Maybe need to change battery?

do u hear any sound when pressing the start button?i jus encounter this prob when my bike cannot start...tow to bike shop n realise tat my rectifier had spoil causin the batt to weak...or maybe ur spark plugs is old liao thus cannot start...go KnT n they will solve the prob for u..better solve it asap or halfway bike fail on the road then u will regret!cheers!

Get your mech to check your batt, rectifier, magnetic coil.

K&T is at Ubi.. I dont know the exact location.. It's along the stretch of workshops behind TP HQ.

 

On that row, the 1st workshop is First Motor, then slightly down is Extreme then K&T somewhere in the middle.

 

If you're free tmr, i dont mind bringing you down.. I'm heading there myself abt 3pm tmr.

i bring my rvf for inspection at vicom as i changed the legal yoshi pipe.

the result come out as the CO is > 4.5. any possible reasons why my bike's CO is above the passing mark ?? :confused:

That time i also have this prob. U can check those thing. If nothing goes wrong then u check the electric start relay fuse. That time i change that becoz the fuse blow up then no electric pass through. The fuse is like the fuse behind ur sit. Look almost same but i think is different. Can check it out that 1. If only that thing spoil then quite cheap. All the best to u. =)
