Bike Stall after ride

hey guys, my bike came across another problem.

 

 

now when i ride for a few km, its normal..till it starts "choking" and when i twist the throttle its like there's no fuel altho there's a full tank. i parked my bike one side and came back few hours later and it starts again..only to repeat the cycle again later.

 

anyone has any insights to this? i read it may be air filter or carb problem.im riding y125z with knn air filter.

its sound like u have aproblem with the carb...most probably stuck float bowl.

 

starts out ok..fuel not filling fast enough into the carb..IMHO

Yeah bro could be your carb, petrol deffinitely not goin in fast enough.

make sure ur filter ok,spark plug sheck got carbon fouling,as for the carburator,check the small pin below the timing pin,turn a little anticlockwise to let more air in,cause there is more fuel instead of air,2 stroke hard to get sick,unless u mod or due to hard riding:cheeky:

Fuel is not filling up the carb bowl as quickly as it is being used up.

 

Clean out the filter that is at the fuel tap. Its probably clogged with rust or sediments from the fuel tank.

 

To confirm... pull out the fuel line to the carb and see whether the fuel flow is fast or slow.

 

Alot of people tend to neglect cleaning out this fine mesh filter within the small little bowl at the fuel tap but they know how to put an inline fuel filter on the fuel line to the carb... that's why you seldom see anyone with a clogged inline fuel filter.

 

Waste of money.

thanks for your suggestions guys. i sent it to the workshop and mech says its the magnto coil. i just serviced the other time at another shop and also changed the coil. apparently i was carrot when the the 1st shop gave me a 'local' coil altho he told me it was an original one. so lan lan. now gonna try settle with the carrot shop
