Alright , thanks , cuz i was lookin for socket to socket , i dont wana strip my wires as my wires are already very short already. Thanks for the prompt reply. Anyone has any idea , original signal light or any other signal light can plug and play without strip the wires. Thanks all.

hi guys, need help here..

my ver S seat couldn't be fit back.. although there's a click sound when i press it down hard, i could still remove the seat with a lift.. i checked the the 'lock' using a screwdriver to press it down, it's working fine, what could be the problem?

You using suspension protector right? It's like that.Just need to give a hard thump at the middle of the seat to secure the lock.

ya i know back fire is bad for motor but once a while back fire help to clear the waste inside the pipe that is why i wanna back fire for cause i am using a hollow pipe must clear the waste

Anyone know if the signal light socket can be plug and play type cause i think my signal light is spoilt. I juz took out my head light assembly and check them out and took a picture of the signal light connectors. I circled them in red. Anyone care to share. plug and play or muz tape wires. ? Thanks . I hate electrical stuffs, burned few of my fuses and panic like mad .

 

Its like, the signal light will light up as in both the front signal light will act as a pole light default. Will light up

 

When i signal left, the rear signal will blink but not the front. I check all the bulbs all working, and i inter-switch the front 2 bulb to see if both are working. I check all the wires are connect correctly. So the only thing i suspect its the contact point of the signal light is spoilt.

 

So i attached a picture, can i juz buy a new signal light and that comes with a connect to connect to the socket that i have circled or i have to tap the wires. Or the "orange or blue" connector cannot be open at all ?

frm e pic see liao got 3 wires rite, tink somewhere u tap e front wires wrongly. did u trial n error on e front wires?

yupz, all the wires are correctly connected . Confirm because the right side works perfectly fine. . Dont know whats wrong with the left side ones thou. Now only can light up as usual as pole light for both. But when i signal left the front left wont blink . = (

No problem. I dont understand the problem either. Had been stonin lookin at the wires over and over again till pek cek and give up . Least it has pole light and the rear left still blinks.

u wan clear carbon can go NSHW tua ur baby mah. Or u ask ur boss teach u loh.

Maybe you Backfire too much till your plugs are faulty. Change to new plugs and see if you backfire at the RPM you want. After-which no more backfire session , change your plugs again for another session.

yo bros out there...im quite new to s4 though..currently ridin vtec1..my speedo aint werkinng..my rpm all stay at Okm..went to shop.they told me need to change my speedo which cost me so ex ar...is there anything can be done?..any1 encounter this??...N flushin of cooland n servicing..which bikeshop do u guys normally go??...help2......prefer shop with knowledge..not MAKAN our money ar...

Got check your fuses Already ? Its on the left side of your bike the one that has a cover. Check all the fuses. My guess would be that the fuse for the Speedo and RPM is blown. Fuse is only less than $1 , check it first before you spend hundreds on the meter. I hope my guess would be right den no need spend so much and good luck .

 

And if its really fuse blown and the bike shop ask you change your meter - think you sld not go back to the shop anymore.

4 e fuse box, when u open u will find tat odometer does not hab a fuse. so i tink not e fuse lah. since u say quite new means u juz gotten ur bike? still under warranty? if yes go bak n tell em e problem. BTW 10A fuse i buy frm planet $0.50 ea.

Hmmm yesterday while doing my signal light. I burned almost all the fuse. Speedo , RPM all not moving . After replacing all the fuse, all come back to life. Panic like siao. Thats why ask you to check fuse first no harm $0.50 compare to hundreds . Good luck .

O.o so fierce ah? tot onli will burnt e signal fuse onli? when i play wif leds on my bike, e fuse burnt was onli e wire where i tapped it 2, which is e headlight.

Yupz , also dont know whats wrong. I dont wanan meddle with electrical stuffs anymore. Hate the feeling man but yet to DIY
