jus went to motorshop and got some information which might be useful for some version s owners. not sure abt vtec models... he says version s have a common problem that will experience coolant leaking out from the gasket... which is because the cylinder head has cracked... and told me that to prevent this problem.. should flush coolant frequently... maybe once in 2 servicing or abt 10000km... then my bike has a drop in power when at 80km/h... bike feel like jerking .. but go service carb and tune ok liao... very big diff in response and power... and for those whu exp slight ticking sound when start bike cold but after riding the sound is gone.. he says its because of the shims... hope these info helps

try riding for a long trip n c if the meter go one round when u press the start button....another way is to use a voltmeter to check ur voltage when the engine is not running.....

Got a problem.... My bike after its servicing, will start to vibrate around 4000- 5000 rpm. My friends says that it might be something loose, but the problem now is locating that "loose item" riding a super 4 spec III . Can anyone with experience advise on what is the usual suspects??

hey my bike also vibrates but its around 3-4k rpm, mech says its something loose and it happens with vtec engines.

i just ignore it, but i would also like to know if any pple experience it. the vibration is more of sound than actual vibrate, it sounds like an extra rumbling/rough sound

Better to be loved, than to hate...

Eh....

I ride spec 2.

To change time, press both buttons down at the same time and hold (time and mileage one.) The time should start blinking.

Set till happy.

Then leave it there. It will stop bllinking after a while.

guys... i riding version s... issit ok that my bike is running on the coolant from the radiator alone and not from the reserve? cos jus now wash bike.. noticed that the reserve was disconnected and was dry... cos previously i send it for repairs at SANFU regarding coolant leaking... and they repaired my cylinder head for me.. b4 i bring it for repairs.. i did top up the reserve coolant reservoir.. so i guess they purposely disconnect it and drain it.. aniway.. issit ok?? anyone of u disconnect the reserve coolant reservoir oso?
