aha... y not u guys plan ahead the Genting trip as i cant make it that sat due to some work related event in the morning...I went to Genting last month...but drove there not ride....well its really challenging to drive up there...most car was seen park aside due to over heat...what i can advise is...do keep a look out on the bus and the taxi there...they are DAMN FAST....

Carpark wise there is the multi-story carpark...guarded by their Auxiliary police...look to be secure...but u know i know lah...security is always an issue in Malaysia...Do have fun guys...other day other time when im free...i would love to join u guys...

1 Day Trip to Genting Highlands on 16th Jan 2009

 

Meeting Time: 0600hrs

Venue: GP Esso

Trip Info: GP Esso-->Ayer Keroh-->Genting Highlands-->Ayer Keroh-->SG 2nd Link

Cruising Speed: Slow, relaxing ride.

 

We will have a light breakfast @ Ayer Keroh, then all the way to GH. I don't know where to park @ GH. This is my first time on bike there. Let's not plan so much, but just have fun. We shall try to leave GH around 4-5pm for SG. Our destination is where our front wheel points.

 

I am open to any other suggestions, even of an overnight trip. Al-Simmons is not following as he has a soccer tournament.

Im fine, as long as they dont feel bored along the way coz enduro tourers are slow bikes. Fazer and sportsbikes can easily hit ~230 and they wont feel a thing. Better if they know the way too.

 

Anyway, what sportsbikes are they? They are able to make it to GH with 1 stop at AK right?

Agreed! Like mentioned earlier, we not going to hit fast... Don't forget Wee is the smallest power over here..... If you all go above 200 kmh, heck I go touring around myself.... Like papabread says, I go to where the styre points to

hey bro... all of them are newbie here which include me too... i had already mention to them abt our ave speed at 140 to 150. they will follow our speed bro...1 of them riding cbr600,fazer1000 n r6.

 

yeah... already told them the objective, to ride n hv fun on sat mrning...

 

they will confirm with me again next week.....

 

but if they were to follow,they nid to stop at machap for top-up only,n we can continue to head to ayer keroh. frm AK to GH, im nt really sure bro...

For Vees, fuel not a concern. Im sure they can last till GH. Furthermore, from mafitra's post, there is an Esso kiosk at the top, so not an issue.

if you going with the fazer 1 ....plan to stop at pagoh , sungei bersi then GH esso(every 150km)...... r6 cbr 6 normally goes further....
