Also using Ermax windshield..

 

Too bad can't find the owner.....

Depending on your type of crashbar, you should be able to get the tank off to access your airbox. Just flip up the tank, no need to remove. Not too difficult if you are used to working on your bike.

oh ya....saw the dark color vstrom at 12noon like that just now at taman jurong zooming down the road~ den front cowling got some yellow parts 1. from any1 here?

I can almost imagine how much a shop is going to charge us for airfilter replacement. Mine not due yet with the mileage I'm putting on my stromie. Probably replacing at end of the year.

 

Do get the air filter (13780-27G10) for K7 onwards. That comes with a gasket which is supposed to give a better seal to keep out unwanted stuff. This is an update for the DL650. Not sure if DL1K has the same update.

BTW tank removal is needed. Flipping it up may not allow full access to open the airbox.

Not sure about the Vee, but the Wee sure have two mounting holes at the front underneath the headlight area.

 

Oh yes, there are 2 mounting holes which can be used. Think the designer knows that there will be mods done to the front of the bike thats y he 'left' 2 holes there....

That's khaitronic.. but if you are lucky.. you might see another dark one without the yellow parts.. hehe

wah...nice nice~ but i wondering...how they mount the bar onto the cowling....drill holes ah?

 

bro..... below our cowling fairing have 2 hole rivet screw attached to it. no nid to drill hole to attached the bar.... just remove the rivet screw and replace it with nuts and screw....

 

btw...heard latest news tat mtechnik have that mounting bar for 40 dollar without installation, 65 with installation.. hurry up bros.. grab it while stock last.....

No lei.. I don't think it standard Gold Rims for the V Strom.. In fact I think you're the First V Strom I come across with Gold Color Rims.... Probably your previous owner did some tuning to the rims then...

 

I don't think it is a super four rims cos our front tire is size 19.

Moto V thread moving really slow lah so I prefer over here.

 

The thing is some locations which Moto V guys always hang out got no muslim food ah (Sorry Ano). That's why we always hang out at food stall where got Muslim food (Chinese-Muslim Food Area also can liao)

FC is controlled by the way u twist the throttle for this bike

 

btw

 

If u are looking for a low consumption...get the DL650...u wont regret!...Really value for money bike

 

 

The dl1k consumption actually on range with any litre bike lah...if u need the extra power(torque) or always on 2up...The VEE is for U!...

 

Anyway do read a few pages behind to gain more knowledge bout the Strom...
