i want to go. but this is my virgin trip to genting on bike. so not sure what to prepare and what to take note of. can anyone advice on that.

 

got to provide us with your detail only than will we be abl;e to give you advice

 

liket wat bike you ridding ... ever ride to malaysia before ....

1) RM $$$, the more the better

2) raingear (with armor recommended)

3) tire repair kit with canister

4) full face recommended

5) well inflated tires with adequate pressure

6) boots recommended

7) open mind

8) confidence but not arrogance

9) disc lock alarm (in case)

10) spare keys

11) spare spark plugs

12) Log card (you will know when u need to use it)

13) cash card

14) your smiles =)

For bald or near-to-bald tires, recommend to change tires before proceeding. Its gonna be moist & damp on the "initial-D" hill

thanks for all of your advice. i just change to 2a bike(gsr400) recently. so never been on long trips. only went to jb pump oil buy cig. btw where is GP esso?? is it advisable to bring pillion along on my first time.

GP Esso ..... after SG custom than follow by malaysia custom

go straight there is a malaysia toll ... pay Rm1.60

go straight look out for a R&R on the left .. the Esso is just there ...

 

pillion or no pillion .... you have to ask yourself .. ???

cos we oso dont know anything abt you yet ... so is not

advisable for us to advise you now .... :thumb:

i like that bike too,previously during my scrambler days... but KTM bike not advisable for asian country, particularly like singapore coz its meant for european countries.. eventhough adventure is for dakar, but bear in mind those ppl after one trip all the parts they change hor.. not like us here.

 

KTM, the coolant seal must be careful, coz its easily worn and ur engine oil will be like chendol.
