Hi,

Are we allow to use wired/bluetooth ear piece while riding?

We are allowed to use while driving, how about riding?

yes we are allowed to do so, provided both hands on the handle bar..

you can also use your phone to text/make a phone call when your vehicle is stationary.say while you're waiting for the traffic to turn green.

the catch is, both your hands MUST be on the handle bar while you are in motion. at no point of time can you even touch your phone while you are in motion... you can set your phone to ring X number of times , with auto answer..

same theory goes for bikes...

and as for me, just shut your visor down and the other party can hear you..

almost . . .

you can actually just slot your phone in your helmet and make calls actually.

Really? I thought will get stopped by TP or something. But come to think of it i just saw a LTA traffic marshal has his phone 'giapped' between his ear and the helmet. hmm.....

yes correct. as long as both your hands are on the handlebar while your bike is in motion. i got caught by TP 2 years back. 12 points deducted. not because my phone was in between my helmet. is because while in motion, i used my left hand to take out my phone and slot it inside the helmet. 12 points, fine $200 and hp confiscate for 6 months.

now dont dare to do this kind of things anymore. anyway, the other party wont get to hear us clearly. so, just leave it when your phone rings !

ya can try the jabra headset model Bt5020. if still uncomfortable u can modify abit like taking out the sponge at the desire side of the helmet or extracting some foam til it meets ur comfort requirement.

The best is the motorola H9 bluetooth ear piece. I tell you this thing is so small you can use it with any helmet. In fact if someone is standing right or straight infront for you, the person can hardly even see it in your ear.
