mainstand too close to chain

hi all, i feel my mainstand is too close to my chain. is there anything i can do? my chain is definitely not loose. the rubber thingy that prevents the mainstand from coming up too much and touching the chain came off once. i had it replaced but now it seems to me like its too close to the chain. any ideas? thanks
