I got a pair of seng kwang modified h&b side racks for hepco and becker side panniers for sale which is not available for Zephyr 750....anyone interested please keep me psoted.

Hi Phang,

I owned one zep750 and from malaysia. are you sure that the tensioner that fitted on 2001 model cannot be fitted to earlier model? mine is '91 model. I've been questioning for a quite sometime about this problem. huhuhu. How about to replace one big engine of 01 model into 91 model? any 1 at singapore can be looked?

Coincidentally I saw a black Wilayah Persekutuan plate Zephyr750 around my place on Saturday!

 

The last time I read (really need to dig this out from my brain), post 2001 primary chain tensioner cannot be retro fitted to the earlier engine as there is a lack of mounting point in the crankcase casting.

 

The primary chain flapping sound adds character to the zephyr and it is not causing any damage to the engine, I will live with it :cool:
