That's probably clutch slip. Or mounting or bearing problem. Less you're too eager to get rid of the vibrations and kena coax into changing this and that, best if you get a second opinion first before dumping your money into it. :goodluck:

The temp is quite normal as long as you travel at a constant speed of 80km/hr the temp will go down.... as for the vibrations that's normal too,I have got it since god knows when,it's not the clutch slip.... if you were to do some research on the previous threads you will know what I am talking about....

Wah its ziggyray one of the pioneers of this thread haha! thanks for answering my doubts.actually i just got this atlantic not long ago...and i think the first owner of the bike was papadum. haha as for the vibration prob, i brought the bike down to kenny and was told it was clutch slip so i decide to do a major servicing (full servicing + polini clutch and kelvar breakpads+ sparkplug head etc etc) cost me a boomb of 550 but no probs after that already...enjoying the ride a lot but the headlights are irritating me though haha i think the wiring is lose and sometimes it turns off by itself so i gotta check it often to ensure it stays on lol.

Hi there, well it's good that you are enjoying your ride. The Headlight is probably due to some losse wiring, try checking the connection on the switch on your handle bar. Make sure you flush your radiator, to maintain proper temp..

Flush radiator......ok i try to read the manual about it...dont even know where the radiator is -_- but i did notice the temp is constant at 1/4 on expressway when going at average 90km/hour but when i go into a multi storey carpark after going upslope for a couple of levels the temp will hit 50% haha..norm right? btw bros have u all tried installing revtec or power abuser into your atlantic? is it "safe" to do so or wiill it cause other parts of the bike to wear and tear faster...was thinking of getting them installed but wan to hear the views of you guys first

Posted

you can go to any bike shop and ask them to do it for you.should be rather cheap and easy. Regular maintenance is very important .

HI there, the the correct pressure for the tires should be F(210) and rear ( 220) but if you are having a pillon then you can pump till 240....

My suggestion to you is not to change anything thing that is stock from your bike unless they are not serving you well.
