You have to be firm. The other side is just taking advantage of your blurness and forcing you to anyhow sign things. You have the right to the papers you signed. Tell the threatening guy you have engaged lawyer and made police report. If he not happy tell him he can deal with your lawyer and the police (threaten him back). In your police report make sure you mention that the other side came and threatened you to sign papers.

Do you have an investigation officer already? Make sure he puts this incident on his records.

I hate these stupid people who take advantage of people's emotions. Never put your signature to things you're not sure about.
